restored to create a romantic, cosy environment. Inside, the caravan comes
kitted-out with electric heating, extra seating, cute fairy lights, and a pull-out double bed (handy for those with longer legs!) Just next door is a self-catering wooden
cabin, decorated with shabby-chic furniture and vintage china. Facilities in
the cabin are plentiful with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, wood
burning stove, and bathroom (with shower, toilet, and sink). But the real draw must
be the fabulous veranda, allowing guests to enjoy the magnificent views and
Shropshire sunsets.
With so much surrounding natural beauty, you’d be forgiven
for thinking Hill Side was located hundreds of miles from civilisation, but the
charming town of Ludlow is only a ten minute drive away. Described by poet Sir
John Betjeman as “probably the loveliest town in England”, Ludlow has a
vibrant community feel that bustles with festivals and events throughout the
year. From Ludlow’s narrow streets brimming with independent butchers, cheesemongers,
bakers, and Michelin-starred restaurants, to the impressive ruins of its eleventh
century castle, it's easy to see the appeal of this quaint market town.
Not surprisingly, a quarter of Shropshire is designated an “Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty”, with many of its footpaths passing through some
of the most divine landscapes you'll find anywhere in Britain. And with Hill
Side’s snug caravan nestled perfectly on the borders of Herefordshire,
Worcestershire and Wales, it really is the ideal base to go and explore this fabulous
