Shire Camping is located in a peaceful 10 acre meadow looking towards Edge Hill. Spacious and with running drinking water, hot showers and flushing toilets. There is a footpath running alongside it taking you 25 minutes to a village shop one way and 20 minutes to a good pub the other way, all across fields. There are some amazing walks to do from the site, and being on the edge of the cotswolds there are plenty of pretty villages and market towns to explore. There are also some well regarded cycling routes in the area.Each pitch is around 11 x 11 metres and is separated from the next pitch with around 3 metres of long grass. The site is flat and even and you can park on your pitch. The toilets, showers and wash basins are clearly located next to the site entrance which you can easily walk to from you pitch. There is drinking water and as well as the wash basins by the entrance there are 3 stand pipes located on the site. Apart from the pitches there is ample space on the site, long meadow grass with a number of pathways mowed into. Roughly 8 acres in total. There are footpath located right outside the campsite entrance leading to 2 villages with pubs and a village shop. Firewood, kindling and firelighters are sold onsite (every pitch has a fire pit). Fire pit bowls available to rent if you so wish.

Each pitch is around 11 x 11 metres and is separated from the next pitch with around 3 metres of long grass. The site is flat and even and you can park on your pitch. Great spot for a weekend camping. Lovely site that is well looked after. Harry was a welcoming host and the site hits just the right balance with all the facilities you need with compromising the feeling of simple camping. We will visit again.

Lovely well-maintained site. Quiet and spacious. We liked the meadow feel between pitches, good toilets and showers, plus the pop-up pizza oven was a fab bonus!

Fantastic off grid site. Quiet, lots of space, very helpful manager. 20 mins walk to a really nice pub. Highly reccomended!

Great campsite, extremely peaceful in a beautiful setting. Harry is super helpful and ensures your time spent at his site is relaxing, the pizza van on Saturday night is a perfect addition. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Harry was the perfect host! He met us at the site entrance when we arrived and showed us to our pitch. The pitches are huge with plenty of space around them which makes the site feel private and quiet. It is in a beautiful location with two lovely villages within walking distance and lots of other attractions a short drive away. The toilets and washing facilities are basic and clean. We loved the minimal impact on the environment. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return.

We have just returned home from a wonderful stay at shire camping. Showers and toilets were great, a lovely open pitch with great walks straight from the site. Would highly recommend and will be returning!

Relaxing in the countryside

I loved my stay on Harry's land. The site was beautiful with great facilities. A real countryside feel. Harry was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Shire Camping.
