Nestled on a charming old dairy farm and overlooking a tranquil pond, our beautifully designed, luxurious, and fully-equipped pods provide an ideal base for exploring the picturesque surroundings. A brand-new pod was added Summer 2025 bringing the total pods to just four! Located near the historic city of York, Castle Howard, and plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shopping destinations, there's something for everyone. Our two roomed pod Chaplins Club give you lots of space and comfort to relax and enjoy your holiday. With a double offset design it differs from the usual glamping pod, and with a feel of luxury and coziness you are guaranteed to thoroughly chill out and enjoy your stay. The pod will sleep four, ideally two adults and two children. However, the sofa bed in the lounge will also cater for adults. An infant can be squeezed in too! Kitchen/Living Room with sofa bed and table and chairs, trays, TV. Microwave/grill, hob and standard size fridge, kettle, toaster. All essential pots, pans, cutlery, wine glasses etc. Bluetooth speakers to hook up to your devices. Dual zone underfloor heating, LED lights, USB socket. Double glazed and fully insulated floors and walls. Bedroom with double bed, bed side drawers, vanity ladder, TV. Bedding and towels included. Hair Dryer. En-suite shower room with toilet, wash basin, and heated towel rail. Double French Doors with blinds, open onto a spacious decking area. Outside seating area, alfresco seating. Gas BBQ, fire pit (one basket of kindling and logs provided, further baskets £5) Hot tub overlooking the picturesque pond. Robes for the hot tub are supplied. Well behaved dogs welcomed. Up to two are allowed in both pods. Add at check out if required. £20 per stay. Welcome basket on arrival, milk, tea, coffee etc. A Special Occasion package is also available to order at check out for £45. This will include, cake, Prosecco and balloon/bunting. It can be ordered to suit the birthday/anniversary you are enjoying by messaging us the details. Contact-less check in. Instructions sent pre-arrival. Checkin in 4pm, check out 10am. Our new pod Bowcliffe offers an open plan design with living and sleeping area all in one and a spacious ensuite shower room built across the back wall. It is set in a quiet corner of the site overlooking the pond and has a large decking area with hot tub and BBQ and fire pit on a lawn just a step down from the decking. The pod will sleep four, ideally two adults and two children. However, the sofa bed in the lounge will also cater for adults. An infant can be squeezed in too! Kitchen/Living Room with double bed, sofa bed and table and chairs, trays, TV. Microwave, hob and standard size fridge, kettle, toaster. Our newest addition, the Paddywack pod, features an open-plan layout with a combined living and sleeping area, complemented by a spacious ensuite shower room along the back of the pod. Situated in a quiet corner of the site, it overlooks the pond and boasts a large decking area with an incredible two-person outdoor bath, BBQ, and a fire pit set on a lawn just below the decking. The pod comfortably sleeps four—ideally two adults and two children. The lounge sofa bed also accommodates adults, with space for an infant as well. Inside, you'll find a kitchen and living space with a double bed, sofa bed, dining table and chairs, trays, and a TV. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, hob, fridge, kettle, and toaster. All essential pots, pans, cutlery, wine glasses, and more are provided. Extras include heating, LED lighting, USB socket, double-glazed windows, and fully insulated floors and walls. Bedding and towels are included, along with a hairdryer. The en-suite shower room features a toilet, washbasin, and heated towel rail. Large doors with curtains open onto a spacious decked area with outdoor seating and alfresco dining options. Outside amenities include an electric BBQ, fire pit (with an initial basket of kindling and logs; additional baskets available for £5), and a well-screened, two-person bath complete with robes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome—up to two per stay, added at checkout for £20 each. On arrival, enjoy a welcome basket with a few treats for you. A special occasion package (£45) is also available at checkout, including cake, Prosecco, and decorations such as balloons or bunting—customizable for birthdays or anniversaries by messaging us with your details. Contactless check-in instructions are sent before arrival. Check-in is available from 4 PM, with check-out by 10 AM. Private parking is provided. The site is spacious, with only four pods, and you can book multiple pods together with friends or family for an exclusive and peaceful holiday experience.

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything needed, it was a lovely cabin and very clean. We will recommend to other and will definitely be back!

Glencroft Luxury Glamping Pod

What a gorgeous stay here! Stayed in the glencroft for two nights. I was able to ask Rich lots of questions before booking. The setting is beautiful and the pod even more so. Lovely welcome basket and all you need is provided. You just need your food, a costume for the hot tub and you’re in for a perfect stay. I slept like a log for 2 nights and the weather made it even more perfect. There is plenty to do within 1 hour of the pods and we opted for 2 days of hiking so the hot tub was a welcome relief! The under floor heating is also fantastic. The shower was a little temperamental you couldn’t get a balance between hot and cold but if that’s a stretch to find anything to improve on. I hope I’ll be back one day

Chaplins Club Luxury Glamping Pod

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights and we loved it. It’s set in a private area with lovely glamorous pods. I booked this for my girlfriend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. Access to a private hot tub, bbq and indoor speakers in the ceiling really allowed us to relax while there. On a night we chilled in our room and had a movie night which had access to Netflix, Disney and all other platforms. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a chilled weekend, while also only being about 25 minutes from the city of York. Thank you to the hosts for being nice and available to us if we needed and also recommending some walks to go on.
