Penn Meadow Farm is a beautiful 145 acre, family owned farm, nestled perfectly into the chiltern hills area of outstanding natural beauty. We’re just a 5 minute walk across our grassy fields to the oldest free-house pub in England (The Royal Standard of England) Say hello to our resident alpacas, sheep, pigs, pigmy goats, flock of 250 sheep and of course our lovely boarder collies. We aim to be a very relaxed spot to be able to rest for a few nights and maybe enjoying a nice camp fire in the evening.A very relaxed spot to pitch up a tent for a night or maybe. Our aim is to create a really laid back camping experience while being surrounded by the gorgeous chiltern hills area of outstanding natural beauty. We highly recommend The Royal Standard of England (Britains oldest free-house) which is just a 5 minute walk across our grassy fields.

Really great
Back to basics farm camping. Clean, hot showers, flushing loos, a kitchen and hobs you can use and loads of space. Staff are great, too!

Camping at Penn Meadow Farm
I really enjoyed my stay at Penn Meadow Farm campsite.I walked from High Wycombe train station with my backpack full of camping gear, stopping at a pub on the way for a hot cup of tea.The weather was very changeable with heavy downpours and flooding, thankfully as I arrived at the campsite in dusk light, the rain had stopped in time for me to put the tent up. Amongst the wildlife I heard and saw were Dear,Red kites,Torny Owls, Robins as well as Sheep and horses grazing on nearby Paddocks. In the morning Frankie the manager and owner of a Meadow Farm campsite came over to see if I was okay and kindly gave me a lift along with his lovely dog to a cafe in a nearby Village where we had a nice breakfast before he took me back to my tent at about 12 noon by then the rain stopped in time for me to take down the tent and pack away my gear. Saying goodbye to Frankie and his Dog I then enjoyed a walk through the Chiltern Hills in lovely, sunny weather( seeing more Red Kites and sheep)back to High Wycombe train station feeling very tired out.I hope to return again to Penn Meadow Farm campsite in the Spring.

This was a very nice site, lovely clean facilities, friendly staff and more than enough space to get a private area. Would highly recommend. The llamas and sheep are a nice touch

Great Place
Lovely place, fire wood provided, lovely walks, 700yr old pub just a short walk away. Toliet facilities were good and clean and having the sheep and alpaca's roaming around was also very pleasant and Micheal came and check on everyone. We will be back next summer 😁

Lovely back to basics site that has everything you need, toilets/showers kept clean with a handy kitchen area provided including a kettle. Alpacas were a lovely addition and millie the collie was very friendly and made friends with my son. Only downside is the field isn't particularly flat so need to pick your spot but not a problem as was fairly quiet while we stayed.
