Lovely back to basics site that has everything you need, toilets/showers kept clean with a handy kitchen area provided including a kettle.
Alpacas were a lovely addition and millie the collie was very friendly and made friends with my son.
Only downside is the field isn't particularly flat so need to pick your spot but not a problem as was fairly quiet while we stayed.

Good but lack of toilets
The site was lovely and spacious, great for families and groups, and lovely short walk to a fantastic pub! Lovely slice of countryside camping. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of toilets. Theres only 3 toilets for the whole site, which also double up as showers so there are significant queues in the mornings and evenings. Really annoying, and theres plenty of space for an additional block which is well needed!

A great break
The kids loved the friendly dogs that live on site, watching the red kites, playing in the wooded areas and lots of space to play. For the adults the facilities on site were good and we made use of the fridge, kettle, communal BBQ and picnic tables. The ground is a little slopey and rocky but it's not too hard to find flat patches and spots where you can get the pegs in. The toilets were good and there are also showers available. Not an issue for us as we were there for a short stay whilst the site was quiet, but I expect these get busy when the site is fuller. Nice to be able to walk along to the Royal Standard which is very interesting as the oldest pub in England. We'll be back again next year!
