Penn Bergeyn are secluded and private shepherd's huts, one hut is the bedroom, the other is the kitchen and bathroom, linked by a covered walkway. During your stay, you have sole use of the paddock the huts sit in, including the woodfired hottub, hammock, various sitting areas and an outdoor kitchen. Penn Bergeyn is set in its own paddock surrounded by fields and woods with easy access to wonderful walks including one round walk taking you through woods, fields even an old railway line and 2 pubs! The easiest access is by car however, you can take the train to Exeter (8 miles) and get our local taxi firm to drop you off here. Private parking on site, electric charging pod available.

    Pure countryside bliss!
    Penn Bergeyn Shepherd's Huts
    I had the most peaceful stay at the Gorgeous Glamping Shepherd’s Hut – perfect for a romantic rural escape. The wood-fired hot tub was a dream under the stars, and the outdoor cooking area made dinners feel special. The wildflower meadow was full of life – I spotted pheasants, deer, and baby calves in May. I spent hours in the hammock just soaking it all in. It feels private but the fantastic hosts are just up the road. Beautiful accommodation that felt like a luxury cabin and underfloor heating which made everything so cosy! Total tranquility – I’ll definitely be back!

    My friend and I loved our stay at Soizig’s and Tony’s shepherds huts! The place is gorgeous and the owners so so lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend! Sarah & Sarah
