Great welcome and although the windiest weekend of the year so far a decent pitch with a little shelter.
Two walks over the weekend one directly from camp and the other from the Swale estuary car park, both worth it.

We had a wonderful time, the place is beautiful and quiet, away from roads and houses. Vans, campers and tents are well spaced from each other. Everybody very respectful. Facilities are great: shower and loos are immaculate, fire pits available to rent and wood to buy, pub in walking distance, and even home pizzas nights at the weekend. Location is great too, we will definitely be back!

Loved the site and the attention from the owners.
The facilities were clean and well maintained. Even the WiFi was strong and easy to access.
Only stayed for three nights but would definitely book again.

Absolutely lovely campsite - beautiful field with mature trees dotted around. Spacious beautifully kept bathroom facilities and very useful freezer and on site shop. We’ll be back!

Clean, well equipped, great showers and toilets, washing up station was always clean and lit up at night, hosts so friendly and helpful, little shop stocked lots of great stuff, big chest freezer for communal use - I can’t fault the place. And the location is wonderful - we spent time in Whitstable, Tankerton and St Andrews Lake.

Great site tucked away just south of Faversham.
Karen and Simon are excellent hosts and always on site if needed.
Great pitches which are spacious and flat.
Great showers and washroom always clean plus laundry room and chest freezer.
Also WiFi and washing up area.

Wonderful little campsite, very peaceful and scenic. Really friendly and welcoming hosts, who couldn’t do enough. Pub down the road is lovely and worth a visit. A great place for a relaxing break!

We’ve camped a lot in the past but this was our first trip with our little fella, and safe to say it was a total success. The campsite was lovely with some stunning sunsets. It had a pub and play park 5 minutes walk away and the washing facilities on site were clean and well looked after. The campsite is within an easy drive to Whitstable, a brill little seaside town, where we spent a day and close to Faversham which was a nice market town. There was also a massive Aldi less then 10mins drive away to stock up on anything the on site shop didn’t have. The owners were very helpful and all in all it was the perfect little trip.

Fab friendly hardworking wardens & such a lovely campsite! We walked to Faversham, & when we returned later in the day we fired up the bbq & kept warm with the firepit, enjoyed the sunset & views of the cherry orchard. Toilets & showers were clean & water warm enough for me!. Appreciated the nearby field to walk dogs & the great pub within walking distance . Nothing not to like about Painters Farm, we would love to revisit!

Brilliant campsite, quiet and very well kept. Facilities are super clean and looked after and location great for day trips by foot, bike or even train. Karen and Simon are very helpful and lovely, made sure everyone is looked after and also gave great tips for activities. We’ll come back.

Fantastic and very friendly welcoming site management that in its self was just pure joy to the stay.
The site was very clean and well facilitated.
In walking distance to a great pub with some outstanding food.

This is a very nice camp site. The couple who manage it are very warm and friendly and helpful. The site is flat and grassy, with small trees dotted about to break up the area. The facilities are very clean and pleasant. It's very quiet and peaceful. It is permitted to have a fire and play music. There is a great pub at the end of the approach road, about 5 mins walk, which does excellent food and beer. It's a short cycle ride to Faversham which is interesting to visit and we even cycled to Whitstable

Lovely camp site with clean and well maintained facilities. Our hosts Simon and Karen were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and always on hand when needed. We had a very enjoyable couple of nights and look forward to returning.

The people were very friendly and welcoming and helpful, the site is beautiful, lovely that you can have a fire pit. Great walks for the dog, just over all a lovely stay

Lovely site, nice and flat (no need for levelling ramps. A beautiful quiet location surrounded by countryside and orchards… what’s not to like? I will definitely stay here again.

Exactly as advertised.. perhaps a little better!
Simon & Karen met us at the gate, explained the location of all amenities and some of the site rules .. all in good humour.
They work really hard to keep the site clean and tidy, the loos and showers are exceptionally clean.
They never trouble you but are always there to answer questions.
It works! A busy weekend at the site and everyone obeyed the rules.
100% recommend this very well kept site.

We picked this site to try out our recent purchases and to give our trio of cockers an idea of what camping could be like. Despite the weathers best efforts to wash us away we had a great 2 night stay. Owners are incredibly helpful and nice and keep a wonderful small site very clean and tidy. The shop is small and stocks some essential items, although we didnt get to try it out due to the atrocious weather, they do hire out fire pits. We'll do that next time. Highly recommend a visit to the Alma for their takeaway pizzas, a great little pub. Bonus for the cockers was a mahoosive field at the rear of the farm that we could let them off and have a good run around off lead. They’re getting old now ( arent we all?) and were thorougly broken at the end (in a good way) but they had a great time. Loved the 'Barn Sale' seeing what unique items were in there as well as working out what the building might have been used for as it seems to go twisting and turning for ages...
All in all a terrifically priced camp site and will be back later in the year. Hopefully with less rain next time

Lovely, compact and quiet campsite, beautiful countryside, set next to an amazing pub with lovely food.
Karen and Simon were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. Really clean, good loo and showers. Fire pits to hire.

We were beautifully welcomed by the hosts who have created a very lovely environment for campers.
It’s very pretty, peaceful, the facilities are clean, well maintained and I can’t find fault with any of it.
One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. And lots of blossom trees too!

Wow what a place from the moment we pulled up we were welcomed by the hosts who were lovely (so sorry I’m terrible with names)
Beautiful site, lovely toilets and lovely showers, inside washing up bit and an outside one too if the weathers good!
Also had a washing machine and a dryer which is handy! You can also hire fire pits etc if need be but we didn’t!
There’s a field you can walk your dog behind which my two cockapoos loved!!
Over all we will be back thank you so much what’s beautiful place!
