North Farm is situated in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, between the villages of Skeyton, Oxnead and Burgh. . Guests can spot all sorts of wildlife during the day and stargaze at night, with no streetlights to spoil the view. Being centrally located in Norfolk means that Norwich, the famous Norfolk broads and the Norfolk coast are all a short car ride away.Handmade in 2014, our wooden Shepherd’s Hut is the perfect place to retreat and enjoy the beautiful Norfolk countryside at North Farm. Mounted on cast-iron wheels from the local foundry, the hut is made from wood and insulated with lambs wool. Inside, it has a 4’6”double bed, chairs and small table and a wood-burning stove. The stove can be used to boil a kettle or warm a basic meal and on colder nights, makes it extremely cosy. The hut is situated in an isolated spot on our beautiful meadow, overlooking the stream, meaning that guests can enjoy the feeling of being totally ‘away from it all’ as they spend the day by the stream or long evenings by the fire-pit.

The Shepherd's Hut

We had an amazing time at the Shepards Hut, we took our dog Lilly who loved it too! Lots of places to visit nearby. Very cosy Hut, plenty of wood was provided for the wood burner and fire pit. Good shower facilities but bring your own towel. Thank you for having us, we’ll definitely be returning 😃

A wonderful place to unwind

The Shepherd's Hut

Wow, what a wonderful slice of tranquility in the Norfolk countryside. This shepard's hut is set on its own in beautiful countryside that's the perfect place to disconnect from modern life. It's complemented by a kitchen and bathroom with toilet and rain shower. We enjoyed our stay here so much, we will definitely be back next time we need to recharge our batteries and relax.
