Lovely quiet site but tricky to find, couldn’t find a sign or anything, drove past some machinery and saw some campers phew.

Great place for a short break. The views are stunning from the top of the relaxed field, and the trip was more pleasant with a open fire. Charlotte was amazing, and drive round to check if we required anything, also informed us of the vintage tractors which made the day!! Would gladly visit again and recommend. Thank you!!

Perfect campsite ! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Plenty of space around the fields to camp & nobody is nearby, so was really nice. A proper butchers/shop that’s all fresh and locally sourced on the working farm which is absolutely incredible to see.
100% going to be a regular spot for me.

I booked a night at this campsite very last minute and at £10 a night I wasn't expecting much at all.
It was absolutely wonderful, a friendly welcome from Charlotte who explained the lay out of the site, family/relaxed (quieter) and social.
The amenities, toilet and shower, also a kitchen with washing facilities and a microwave.
An onsite shop selling local produce on the farm just across the road.
There are firepits dotted around the site which can be moved and firewood is sold in bags.
Portaloos are also placed around the fields/meadows which is really convenient. They were very well maintained.
A football, basketball area in family.
The site itself is beautiful with loads of room, I really cannot do it justice with a description.
You are getting amazing value for your money and I can not recommend this place enough, you will not regret a visit.
A big thank you to Charlotte who is amazing and never seems to stop.

camping here was such a good call, perfect location with lots of places to walk around. the farmshop is amazing! so handy to have on site. all staff were super polite, really friendly and so welcoming!! i will definitely coming back here again! portaloos all over site with the main toilet block and showers near the farmshop for those spider squeamish at night 🤌🏻 oh and the food is delicious!!!

A really big site, more than enough room. A bonus is the farm shop which has what you need for a great dinner - will definitely be staying again and buying dinner from there.
Can’t fault the stay, a bargain and Victoria came round in the evening to see if we needed fire wood.

Absolutely loved my night. We decided to camp up right at the very back of the site and had so much space! It’s on lovely land which is very well looked after, and the farm shop that had everything you need for dinner and breakfast was perfect! I will definitely be back again. I am only local so it’s a great spot just to get out of the house and spend some time outside.

The campsite is brilliant, it’s really good if you want space, to enjoy social time or to camp in one of the quieter areas as there’s so much space, some people have music and stay up late, but we didn't mind that at all as we felt free to relax ourselves! (And we were told there was a field for people who wanted to party so the choices were clear). Victoria met us on arrival and came round the site on that evening to check everyone was ok for fire wood and to check / change the portaloos, generally the staff there were really kind and friendly but let you enjoy the space too. The limited total of campers means you’re never too close to anyone (unless you want to be as a group) so we think it was the best version of a solution to make everyone happy we have found (between free space and social and more peaceful options) and added to that the loos, facilites and the amazing farm shop (only open Friday and Saturdays but worth the visit on its own!) means that we will definitely be back. Thank you and look forward to coming again soon :)

There were some lovely things about this site and some significant issues. The fields available for camping are large and allow you to really immerse yourself in nature. There are lots of fire pits and you have a wide range of spaces to go, which means you can have distance between yourselves and other campers. The price is very reasonable as well, and there are some facilities. With that said, there are some real issues. There was no hot water while we were there, and a sign in a shower room that looked like it had been there a while said the biomass water heating was being repaired. There was no toilet roll in the toilets or portaloos we went into, no paper towels in the bathrooms, and the kettle on the shared kitchen space was knackered and broken. All shared spaces were dirty and unpleasant to be in. While I recognise the site is on a working farm, the overall cleanliness was really low.
Personally, I'd rather they charged a tiny bit more per person and provided basic amenities to a higher standard.
