Welcome to our little paddock with a slither of woodland to the side. The field is basic wild camping with no facilities! This is wild camping!! There is a riding centre; Asti Stud just around d the corner and delicious good available at the fox pub 1.5 miles away. The market towns of Wantage and Faringdon are a few miles away for supplies! It may be more WILD than the photos on the listing :)This is a small enclosure within a 5 acre field. It is a basic no frills camping spot, with literally no facilities and not alot going on. However, there may be horses grazing on the other side of the fence but other than that. You probably won't see anyone. There is a b road passing by but it certainly isn't busy in the grand scheme of things. Some people may be disappointed that it is simply a little field and there is no entertainment or posh facilities, but others will love roughing it in nature for a few nights and taking the opportunity to disconnect from the interruptions of daily life! There is a bore hole water supply into the trough (push the ballcock down and water jets out of the connecting pipe before going into the trough, i have drunk this water for years, but you can boil the water for reassurance). The field has a little gate into a little slither of woodland. It is unfenced along the road so children would need direct supervision. If you require wood, please buy a wood pack. A friend of mine cuts his logs there, but it is his wood not mine so sadly not for campers direct use. Leave no trace. Campers must remove all waste (including personal waste). Thank you :)
