Tucked into a peaceful corner of Field House Farm, just 8 miles south of York, Honey Pod offers a luxury adults-only glamping experience surrounded by open countryside, wildlife, and tranquillity. It’s an ideal retreat for couples or solo guests seeking calm, comfort, and connection to nature — without sacrificing the little luxuries that make a stay feel special.
The pod sits in a private, partly fenced grassy area with no shared facilities. Outside, enjoy your own patio with seating, a fire pit for stargazing under dark skies, and views across open farmland where you might spot red kites, little owls, barn owls, and deer.
Inside, the space is bright, warm, and beautifully equipped:

🚿 Ensuite with shower, fluffy towels, bodywash and shampoo
🍳 Kitchenette with hob, oven, fridge (with ice box), microwave, kettle, toaster, pans and full crockery set
🧼 Extras like tea towels, washing-up liquid, hand soap, foil, cling film, and bin liners
Parking is just a short walk away along a paved path. Firewood is available to purchase from the store near the pod. You’ll also find an honesty shop near the main office with useful extras and basic supplies.
Honey Pod is ideally located for exploring the local area. Take a countryside walk (approx. 3km) to the award-winning Drovers Arms gastropub, or visit Skipwith Common National Nature Reserve — a peaceful spot for walking, birdwatching, and wildlife spotting. The historic city of York is just 8 miles away, easily accessible via the Designer Outlet Park & Ride.

Luxury, peace, and countryside charm — all in one private glamping pod.Honey Pod sits in its own private, partly fenced grassy area on our smallholding, offering space to relax with open field views and no shared facilities. Guests have exclusive use of the pod, private bathroom, kitchenette, outdoor patio, seating area, and fire pit. Parking is just a short walk away along a flat, grassy path, making access easy.
All amenities are within the pod: a king-size bed, ensuite shower room with towels and toiletries, and a well-equipped kitchenette for simple self-catering. Outside, enjoy meals or stargazing beside the fire pit, or watch the sheep and local wildlife from your chair — including little owls, red kites, and barn owls.
One well-behaved dog (or two small ones) is welcome. Please note the area is partly fenced, and dogs must be kept on a lead when outside to prevent roaming and avoid encounters with other animals or guests.
You can walk directly from the pod across the countryside to the Drovers Arms pub (approx. 3km) or explore the wild heathland of Skipwith Common National Nature Reserve. York city centre is just 8 miles away, easily reached via the nearby Park & Ride.
