The layout of this campsite was great with clearly market out spaces with short grass among the long wide area. Everything was outside from showers (which were hot) , toilet's (compost toilets) and washing up area ( two outside sinks). Surrounded by woodlands and fields.

I fully intend to come back next year and explore the land more. It was so quiet and peaceful and they've separated different sites so you're not on top of each other. Everyone was lovely and welcoming, they let us explore the grounds. So well equipped with compost toilets, hot showers and a sink set up to do your washing up... bloody lovely!
I'll be seeing you next year for sure!

The campsite was great. Very quiet and plenty of space between pitches. Enjoyed seeing the sky while having an outdoor shower, which were lovely and hot.
Warden was very helpful and attentive.
Would definitely go back to this campsite again if it was closer to home.

We stayed for the weekend at Benville Manor and were really impressed with the surrounding countryside, friendly team and hosts on site and well thought out tent pitches. There were toilets, showers and wash facilities just a short walk from the tent. The tent pitches were mown into a wild meadow which had large spaces in between which gave us plenty of room. A really peaceful stay!

lovely site right in the middle of perfect nowhere with large pitches and a friendly host. Perfect get away from it all place to stay !

Absolutely LOVED this campsite. Somehow Dara managed to keep it very simple and basic, but with all te features you need. I mean, reception area in a caravan, loved it. Showering with a view: the best. Dishwashing area, all the stuff you need is there, including soap. The toilets are the basic non flushing kind, but they look great. The field is just partly mown, that way they created a cosy kind of paths and camspots. The option to start a fire combined with a great starry sky.... This campsite is a vibe and would definately return!

This was probably the most relaxing, peaceful and calm place I have visited via Hipcamp. It is literally a meadow field with pitches well spaced so you’re not looking over your neighbours, if you time your visit well you can wake in the morning surrounded by wild flowers and butterflies. We whiled away an afternoon in the sun just watching the butterflies. The showers are open air, but hot. The only word of caution, check your booking with them before you arrive as Hipcamp failed to inform the host of our booking, luckily they could accommodate us.

Everything was perfect. Pitches are a good size with good amount of space in between them. Good shower and toilet facilities and friendly host. Would definitely return back.

I almost don’t want to recommend this idyllic and special spot…
If tranquility and low impact is your thing, then this carefully crafted small site should be on your radar. Back to back eco loos; open air showers and goats to keep guard give this little haven a sense of special interest.
