Crowdy Hall is an off-grid retreat featuring several bespoke-built, timber-framed eco-cabins. Set in 200 acres of picturesque farmland, guests are encouraged to unplug, unwind and relax, enjoying a break away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Expect wood burning stoves for heat, fire pits on the decking and solar panels for power.The walk from the parking zone to the cabin is approximately 2 minutes. Should you want to light a fire, logs and kindling are available to buy from the log store. The farm itself has been in the family over a hundred years and after much time, the buildings are slowly being brought back to life. There are numerous walking routes across the land if you’re keen to explore and cards, books and stationary should you prefer to stay indoors.

Raffer Yem Eco Cabin

Raffer Yem was a wonderful little dose of escapism. A beautiful little hideaway with sunset views sitting by the fire-pit was super zen. We lucked out on staying over the one weekend per month when Hopper Brewery down the road was open - the ‘pub’ in a cowshed was quite the novelty. Billy we met when checking in was really friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. We enjoyed the wood burning tub the second evening after a hike over at Teesdale waterfalls which was a lovely walk. Hope to visit again in the future and will be recommending to friends and family, thanks Al + Billy!

Raffer Yem Eco Cabin

Beautiful little cabin facing directly to stunning sunset views. Super comfortable bed and bedding with a lovely view - perfect for coffee in bed in the morning! Loved that the cabin was in complete privacy at the corner of the farm and came kitted out with everything we needed. Fire pit and deck to watch the sun go down and the stars come out was the cherry on the cake. Thank you for having us!
