Nestled in the heart of the Cornish countryside, here at picture-perfect Little Fursdon you can find true peace and tranquility. In typical Cornish style you’re greeted with a heavenly cream tea upon arrival. Once devoured, relax and kick back – after all, you’re on holiday.
Luxury Cornish Yurts is a truly professional operation. When you first step into your ambient, locally crafted accommodation, you’ll be surprised how much room there is. Each of the three yurts come fully furnished with oak furniture, king sized bed, crisp cotton linen and a garden-view veranda – all to encourage maximum chilling.
The care and attention that’s been lavished on this place is obvious. David and Lindsey do a great job in creating a peaceful haven for all their guests.
There is a huge garden onsite with badminton, volleyball and football facilities – there’s even enough space for a game of rounders! Toys and a good selection of games will keep the kids busy, or they can help collect eggs from the resident free-range chickens.
Little Fursdon is a lovely, unspoilt area situated in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Although it’s tough, do try and drag yourself away. In just a short drive you’ll find both the north and south coast beaches. So if the sun's out, oil up and grab your flip-flops – you’re not far from some of England's finest beaches. On the south coast, cliff-backed Downderry deserves a visit. At low-tide it’s possible to walk all the way to Seaton, keeping one eye out for seals along the way. It’s a great walk and largely undiscovered, so go and discover one of Cornwall's hidden treasures for yourself.
Back at Little Fursdon, candles are lit as the sun begins to set and guests gather around the open-fire for a good-old British BBQ. You’re only dilemma? How to have your steak cooked.
