The Lambing Hut
Loved this little hut, had everything we needed and a very comfortable bed! Had a great long weekend exploring around Looe and Polperrro and a memorable walk to the train station through the beautiful woods carpeted in bluebells and wild garlic (only to miss the train!). Will recommend this place to my friends.

The Lambing Hut
My favourite holiday location by far - we had the most peaceful, wonderful time here in the Lambing Hut. The whole team at the farm are so kind - Andy was super friendly and respectful of privacy, everyone in the office were so easy going and helpful. While there we booked a riding lesson which was definitely a highlight, our instructor was clearly very experienced and put us at complete ease. The whole farm is a very special place of rolling hills and close to the beach - couldn't recommend it enough!

The Lambing Hut
This was a fantastic! A really lovely escape to a very rural setting. With views of rolling countryside and a few horses it was a dream trip. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed scrabble ( provided) in the hut and the firepit. Car parking was at the bottom of the field with a bit of an incline to reach the hut. The shower, toilet and sink block about 20m away. Not ideal in wet weather but hut was cosy and warm to come back to. Holly and Andy were very friendly and accommodating, even left us some coffee, milk and Eggs- a lovely touch. . We hope to make it back!

We stayed for 3 nights to relax during our trip around Devon and Cornwall and couldn’t have picked a better place to do so. There are wonderful peaceful views across the countryside along with 3 beautiful horses who liked to pop up and say hello every evening! There are also some nice sign-posted walks to do nearby through the farm and woods along with a small shop which sells some local produce. Holly and Andy were really helpful when needed and would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a bit of peace and quiet and lovely evenings around a firepit!

It's rare that a holiday turns out to be exactly what the host promises on their site, even rarer that it turns out to be better. Hideaway huts' Shepherds hut is exactly that, better than expected after high expectations. The setting is perfect- views to the coast on a working farm with enough privacy to really relax but with someone always there if you need help. The farm has plenty to offer whatever the weather with a games room, pool and super friendly animals including the two horses who shared our field and entertained our dog. The hut is beautifully kitted out - bed was comfy, log burner very toasty all night, games and books if you need entertaining when the sun goes down and you stop staring at the view. Easy to walk into Looe with decent walking shoes and the train or bus will drop you back nearby if the local beers and ciders take out your walking legs. Great hot shower for post walk recovery (after gentle swim in the pool). Would recommend reading all the comments left by previous guests in the book in the hut for ideas for meals out, trips out etc. When we go back to Cornwall we will definitely stay here again.
