Camp Mela isn't the only business set on Salle Moor Farm. The barns around the farmhouse, a short walk away, are also home to the All Day Brewing Company (01603 327656), a small-time brewers utilising their 20-acre organic orchard and specialising in wild and mixed fermentations. They also ferment a range of foods for the kitchen and serve up freshly made vegetarian and vegan food, including wood fired, sourdough pizzas on Friday and Saturday evenings (beers and ales available Tuesday–Saturday). The farm also hosts a vegetable box scheme, Salle Moor Market Garden (01603 879046), so organic seasonal vegetables and mixed salad leaves can be purchased right on your doorstep.
Elsewhere, The Crown (01603 870964) in Reepham is the nearest pub (about a mile away) and there are more in town: The Kings Arm's (01603 870345), a 17th-century coaching inn, serves good food and has live jazz in the courtyard some evenings, while Georgian country house, Dial House (01603 879900) is the one for fine dining. Both are on the main square, where there's also a good butcher's and, just off the square, V's café (01603 879300), which offers something more quick and casual during the day. Three miles in the opposite direction, it takes around 10 minutes to drive to beautiful and historic Heydon, where The Earle Arms pub (01263 587376) and a local tearoom (01263 587211) both have a good view of the church, the green and generally pretty surroundings of the tiny hamlet.
