The Bertling Ranch
Quiet and beautiful
We had a wonderful 2 week stay at this camp! The setup is amazing (although the trailer parking spot was a little tight) with patios, privacy and even laundry! Steve and his family was very welcoming but afforded us plenty of privacy. Great central location if you want to stay out of the cities. 10/10 would recommend and we hope to return next time we’re in SoCal!

5 Stars! Great Host Beautiful Farm
Steve was the ultimate host! We had just purchased our RV and brought it to his property for our first night stay. He was so wonderful with helping us back the trailer into the site, and offered great RV tips to help out new beginners. Super nice host and would definitely go back!

Glad we were back :)
We could see the improvements that The Bertling Ranch had done since last year. Full hookups and off leash rule are always the priorities for us when look for a campsite to stay. The best part of this stay was the dirt bike loop. Hubby enjoyed riding mountain bike, doggies enjoyed running free and I enjoyed hand-feeding the animals. We all had a great weekend!

Great space with farm animals
Steve and his family were wonderful hosts. Our kids had so much fun playing with the animals and running around in the big common area. Our space was private and quiet with all the hook ups we needed. We’ve done several hip camp trips and we think this was the best. We’d love to visit again soon!

The Bertling Ranch
We had a great time during the three weeks we stayed on Steve’s ranch. Location was spacious and FHU’s worked as expected. We have a 45ft fifth wheel and this location had room to spare. Steve was a great host, very responsive, and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back in the future.

The Bertling Ranch
The host Steve was very friendly and thoughtful. Site 1 is located in the corner of a gated farm. Fully hookup is always huge. It is great value for multiple nights stay and explore the areas or a quick one night getaway. There were 3 beautiful white horses and 2 goats. We will definitely be back in the future!

The Bertling Ranch
This is a very secure site and in a beautiful area. It is close to home so was the perfect place to set up our trailer for our trip. It made for a very relaxed first day for our trip. Hookup were great. It was a little too cold to stay outside this time around but they have a table set up with shade that would be great of an outdoor dinner otherwise. We will go back, for sure.

Best Hipcamp in the area!
We're a full time RV'ing family that needed a break from the typical RV parks and found the Bertling's Family Farm to be the right place for our family. It was private, quiet, and safe place with an amazing view of the San Bernardino National Forest and San Gorgonio Mountain. It offered a playground and large open space for the children to ride their bicycles or walk over to visit the farm's horses and goats. The RV spot was at the corner of the farm's property and has a deck on one side and a patio on the other side to relax during the afternoons/evenings. A big plus for us was the laundry room (incl. with the stay). The location worked out for us. A quick drive (12-15 minute drive) to Hemet to the local Walmart, Target, gasoline station, and the local grocery stores to resupply our food/other misc. supplies. The Hipcamp was a great base camp to visit the abundance of places that Southern California offers. We visited the nearby Diamond Valley Lake (7 min away), the Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino National Forest (1 hour and 52 min. drive) and also traveled to the South Mission Beach, San Diego for an afternoon splash (1 hour and 30 min. drive). Steve was an amazing host from the first minute we arrived. Was extremely helpful and always available for anything that we needed during our stay. Always went beyond to help and make us feel comfortable. A great place for families, outdoorsy people, and snowbirds looking for private place to stay. Highly recommended by us.
