Thanks for respecting this! --- Nestled on two private acres surrounded entirely by Elk Lake Regional Park, our peaceful RV site offers the perfect stopover between Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal and downtown Victoria—just 20 minutes from each. This is a multi-generational family property, also home to two friendly dogs, a one-eyed cat, and a lively bunch of chickens. You’ll be tucked away in a semi-private, flat gravel site bordered by fir trees, with easy access and plenty of turnaround space. Enjoy scenic walks right from your site—only 5 minutes to Elk Lake Beach for swimming, paddling, or casting a line, or head to Bear Hill Regional Park for a rewarding 20-minute hike through fir and arbutus forest with stunning views from the top. You’re also just 10 minutes from world-famous Butchart Gardens and the charming Butterfly Gardens along the way. Ideal for **1–2 night stays**, especially for couples or small groups (up to 4 people total) looking for a restful, nature-connected stop en route to Tofino or around the Island. Super easy to find, park, set up for the night. Wake to realize you’re in a park — the lake has a 10k hiking / running trail around it with water ski launch, picnic area and fishing pier a short walk from the campsite!

Really cute spot. The road was abit noisy til about 10pm, then was quiet overnight. Beautiful setting. Friendly hosts communicated well on app. Very private. We would come again.🙏

This was such a cozy stay for our family. The site felt private and gave us the freedom to leave our camper behind while we explored town in the truck, which was a huge plus. It is close to the road, but traffic was minimal and honestly easy to forget about once we settled in. We really enjoyed our time here.

We had a great stay with our campervan. The site is easy to find and level and the gravel “patio” and string lights were a nice touch. Quiet with minimal traffic and very close to the park. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in the area.

Overall we had a great experience. The locations is beautiful and very welcoming. The closeness to Elk Lake is amazing. I should have brought my fishing rod. The evenings were enchanting. The only negative is the road noise.

The site was a nice place to park our van for the night rather than trying to find a quiet street in the city. While it is in a suburban/rural area with lots of trees, rather than surrounded by nature it is actually surrounded by roads, a house and outbuildings. There are indeed many trees, but you’re in a small area alongside a dirt driveway 50 or so feet in front of a house. It was relatively quiet and we were given our privacy, though there were many vehicles coming and going in the early evening and morning.

This was a great base camp not too far from Victoria and very close to Buschart Gardens! Nice easy walk to Elk Lake Park from there. Peaceful and secluded.

Great spot! Very quiet and a close drive into Victoria for sightseeing. One thing to note, there is a lot of tree coverage so our Starlink was not able to connect. Hosts were friendly and we would definitely stay again!

Some Lake traffic during the day but the night was quiet. The Quietness of Nature and country quiet. And an accommodating person to greet us and helped out with a couple of our needs above and beyond. Thankyou. We hope to be back!
