A quiet, private yurt tucked into the land — a place to slow down, unplug, and settle into a different rhythm for a night or two. Simple, off-grid, and intentionally unpolished in the best way. This space was created as a place to step out of the usual pace of things. Not a resort, not a curated luxury stay — just a simple, well-loved yurt on private land, with the basics you need to rest, cook, and spend time outside. The yurt sits a short walk from the parking area, on the edge of a clearing near the pond. Immersed in nature, you’ll hear birds, wind through the trees, & maybe the ducks chattering near the pond. Wild flowers and towering trees surround the space, which is private and self- contained. Inside the yurt, there’s a comfy queen bed, a small wood stove for cooler nights, and a simple, cozy setup. No grid power — just rechargeable lighting and a slower pace. Outside, you’ll have access to: – a covered outdoor kitchen space (propane burners + charcoal grill) – a hot/cold outdoor shower – composting outhouse – propane fire pit lounge area It’s a place that tends to invite a different kind of stay — slower mornings, earlier evenings, time outside, simple meals. At times, we also open our private Nature Spa space (wood-fired hot tub, sauna, and cold immersion), though availability varies seasonally, especially through the summer months due to fire restrictions. If you’re interested in accessing the Spa during your stay, check out our "Extras" during booking - we try to keep it updated with whats available. This space tends to be a good fit for those who: – enjoy simple, off-grid stays – are comfortable tending a fire if needed – appreciate quiet, nature, and a bit of independence It’s probably not the right fit if you are: - Looking for a fully serviced or luxury experience - Needing constant power, Wi-Fi, or modern amenities - Highly sensitive to ambient noise. Depending on the season, the frogs in the pond are loud at night! And there is the occasional hum of traffic noticeable during peak rush hour. If you’re looking for a cozy, nature-immersed place to land for a couple of days, this space is here for you. This cozy glamping-style yurt is a private nature sanctuary designed for rest and reconnection, and includes exclusive access to our on-site Nature Spa. Just down the path from the yurt, the spa invites you to move between a wood-fired cedar hot tub, cedar barrel sauna, and cold plunge zone set outdoors among the trees. Guests often flow between heat, cold, and rest — soaking, steaming, cooling, and sitting by the fire — as part of a simple, grounding nature-based circuit. The off-grid 170 sq. ft. yurt is designed for comfort, warmth, and simplicity. Inside, you’ll find a queen-sized wild wood bed, futon couch, small tea table, and wood stove for gentle heat. Rechargeable battery lighting, high-quality cozy linens, fresh chemical-free water, and tea & coffee supplies support a restorative stay. There is no grid electricity, and while limited Wi-Fi is available, we encourage minimizing device use to fully immerse in the off-grid, nature-connected experience. Your stay also includes access to the outdoor kitchen area, featuring counter space, picnic tables, propane burners, a charcoal grill/off-set smoker, and fire pit. The site is fully off-grid (there is no fridge or kitchenware provided), so please bring your own cooler and cooking/dining supplies, as you would for a camping-style stay. The yurt sits at the edge of a clearing beside a pond, surrounded by trees and birdsong. Just steps away, the covered lounge space near the Nature Spa offers a picnic table and propane fire pit for resting between rounds. You’ll also find a composting outhouse and an open-air cedar structure with a private outdoor hot/cold shower and handwashing sink — providing simple, functional amenities while keeping the focus on nature and relaxation. Access to the yurt site is via a short trail or gravel drive. Parking is available directly at the yurt for 4x4 vehicles, or approximately 200 ft away for standard vehicles.
