Beautiful, secluded trees and lake
Omg, we loved this place! It's super quiet with no other campers. The lake is quiet and so pretty. It was a little like being on an undiscovered planet. Perfect for a little fall getaway. The host was so nice and helped us get to the site - even after dark. And when my friend left his glasses at the site, she mailed them back! This would be SUCH a fun place to bring a group. The sites are kind of close to eachother, but the trees and tables and proximity to the lake make it amazing, regardless. And the compost bathroom was awesome. Well-kept, just close enough to the sites, and it even had a little shower and sink. We loved it. Hopefully we'll be back next year to do a little kayaking!
A note: the roads out to the site are pretty rough. My friend made it through in his Flex but it was a close one! My Jeep handled it no problem. You need something a little bit off the ground.

Try it.
Beautiful area. Lovely private campground. The water is a semi-short hike down the hill. Be prepared for the ride through the woods to get there. Very rugged. Hostess was very nice and had excellent communication. I appreciated my time here.

Site 5 - Aufderklamm Farm - Lakefront
Our favorite trip so far. The host has a huge area of land with some amazing views. We had the entire area to ourselves, although it may have been a little close to others had the sites been full. Even so, it was wonderful. Full toilet facility (shower was cold-only) and gorgeous surroundings. Lots of wildlife tracks and sounds, so manage your food storage. Great hiking, bushcraft, and fishing. Ask the host to send you a map to fully explore the huge area (and private beach).

Overall great experience!
The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The site is gorgeous. Lots of fun places to explore in the woods nearby! Campsites are closer than we expected but further apart than a traditional campground (felt covid-19 safe). Bathroom and shower facilities were charming and clean. This place is definitely loved and cared for!

Good time at the Aufderklamm camp!
We had a great time! The camp site was very clean and the owners were very nice. Just a few minutes walk to the lake front, we caught a good size bass there! They had firewood ready and kept the bathrooms clean for everyone. We will probably be coming back for more fun.

Very kind host! We got to the site after dark and she led us to our camp site by driving ahead of us which we appreciated! She offered us a table and chairs too which was great. The bathroom is super clean and convenient. We brought our paddle boards and enjoyed the cove. It was a great experience.

Great place for an escape!
If you’re looking for a secluded and off the beaten path camp spot, this is the one! Booked on a weekday so we were the only ones there which was awesome because we had the swimming area, bathroom, and pretty much the entire peninsula to ourselves!

I enjoyed the stay. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a remote and peaceful camping spot. The site is in the early stages of development and has a lot of potential. When I was there there the camping area was small enough that it would have been awkward to share it with another group, but I think the hosts are working on expanding it. The hosts seemed like great people.
One other thing, the location coordinates in the confirmation email showed the location on the wrong side of the lake which was a little confusing (the site is on the Missouri side but is just over the state line in Arkansas).

Lovely camp spot that is well maintained and very private. Host was friendly and helpful, and they even provided a shower and clean bathroom. Girlfriend and I enjoyed paddle boarding on the beautiful bull shoals lake (accessed a few paces down from campsite). 10/10 recommend.

Wonderful Experience!
This was an amazing place to camp! The host was super kind and accommodating. She met us at the entrance, guided us through the dirt roads and helped us find our set up spot where they already had a fire going and very generously provided us some water. The water is beautiful and the sites are spread out to allow privacy and quiet from the other campers. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this site to any future campers.

Beautiful campground, owner was very attentive when we had any questions, there were 2 other groups camping nearby but there's enough space we didn't really notice them. If you have small children the swimming area wasn't the best but we had kayaks and our kids took them out to swim/fish from the camp area. The shower was cold but felt amazing!

Excellent up and coming site!!! Very authentic and filled with beautiful nature. A sweet private getaway on a picture perfect quite lake.
