The site was beautiful. Lots of places to explore and a variety of things to do. While we had to leave early due to the weather, Sam and Michelle were very kind and understanding. Definitely trying this again during the summer. Overall 10/10

Red Fern was an awesome camping experience! Site 1 was a beautiful creek side location and we really enjoyed hiking near our site. Our hosts, Sam and Michelle, provided very accurate directions and helpful communication prior to our arrival. We will definitely visit Red Fern again!

Site 3 - Kings River Falls Camping
This was a nice, rustic, remote campsite with the sites spaced well. However, I think the listing could make a little more clear that the creek cannot be crossed in a vehicle without 4 wheel drive. We had to walk all of our camp supplies across the creek and about 100 yards to our site, which was unexpected. We were expecting to drive our truck across the creek, but there's no way we would have made it without 4 wheel drive. Otherwise we had a nice stay and the hosts communicated well.

Friend’s first trip was great!
Second time camping out here. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful spot I had to come back. Brought my friend with me for his first camping trip and couldn’t of have had a better experience. Host are awesome, communicate frequently and gave us a heads up about some incoming snow so we were prepared. The site was clean and ready for a great weekend on arrival. Just bring some waterproof shoes/boots to cross a small bit of water and remember to pack out your trash and leave everything just as nice for the next guest- I cant recommend this beautiful place enough! There are some awesome sights to see as well for an afternoon hiking about. Thanks Sam and Michelle!

Great remote location. The sound of the river and the seclusion was awesome. The place was a little hard to find but fortunately Sam found us and guided us in the right direction. Must have 4x4 to cross the creek, especially after a rain. Thanks Sam and Michelle for a great time and great communication!

My sons and I had a great time! There was plenty to do and explore right outside our tent; cave, huge boulders, and creeks. I was surprised how close it was to Kings River falls trailhead, just minutes by car. We plan on coming back in the spring/summer so we can do more exploring and enjoy the many places to swim. Sam and Michelle made sure we got accurate directions to the site, including maps and written directions. Thank you!

I've stayed at alot of hipcamps and this one has been by far my favorite. It checks all the boxes of a camgpers dream (well mine) .

Site 05 - Kings River Falls Camping
The camp ground is very clean and quiet. We camped at #5 and we could see our camping neighbors but couldn’t hear them at all so it didn’t bother us a bit. The picnic table and the privacy tent to use the restroom were awesome bonuses! Not much water so we will be coming back in the spring! Definitely recommend!

Great camp ground for weekend away
We had a wonderful get away. The property is amazing. The swimming hole, rock features along river, and the cave were fun to explore. We took day trips to nearby natural attractions. The hosts responded quickly to our questions. We will be back.

Nice place. Clean and quiet setting for camping. Good directions and easy to find. High clearance vehicles needed to reach camping spots. The river was low (not flowing) which was a disappointment, but was still nice.

Great camp trip and primitive location. Host provided great directions, coordination, and communication. Was even able to have firewood delivered to site on arrival.

This is really one of the most wonderful camps I have camped in the nations. Natural beauties all around. It is truly off grid as well. Our host Sam was very nice and was on top of cleanliness of the campground and the outhouse. This was a pleasure and we will return to enjoy with our friends.

Not worth the almost $60
Booked site 1, but it was somehow double booked so we got moved to site 2 without even seeing if it was fine (we booked site 1 for the outhouse and site 2 had a SUPER tiny tent and bucket to use instead). I bought firewood but instead I got freshly cut wood? Took us forever to get a fire going because of all the water in the wood. I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew that’s what they were going to do. The trails were nice and it was in a beautiful spot.

Awesome adventure
Super fun trip!! Definitely underestimated the remoteness of the campsite but the directions the hosts gave were so detailed and it made it rather simple to find- and so close to the falls! The private swimming hole was also SO fun. Lots of nature to see and places to explore. I would emphasize the need for good clearance on your vehicle if you're planning on parking at your spot, very short walk if not though! Would definitely come back!

Site 3 - Kings River Falls Camping
This place is a special gem! We absolutely loved it and will get back soon. It’s deep in the woods, which is what we wanted. And the sites are wooded so tons of privacy between neighbors.
