Perfect camping trip!
A buddy of mine and I make an annual camping trip on Halloween weekend for some downtime and relaxation. This was our first time here and we were very pleased. Honestly, one of the best, if not the best, trips we've ever had! It's primitive camping, which is what we like, but still with access to some basic amenities like an outdoor shower with hot water, access to a water faucet from their well, and an outhouse. They also have 4 ponds if you like to fish and they offer boat rentals if desired. We happened to be there on a weekend with no other people there so we had complete privacy. However, they have the campsites spaced out enough across the property that you can have a good amount of privacy at any time. Each site has a firepit and picnic table. They sell firewood or you can forage for it yourself, which is what we did. The site we were in had good tree cover and was spacious also. If I could make one suggestion, it's with the outdoor shower. I like open air concept with the propane water heater, but it would be nice if it had a door of some sort rather than just a shower curtain that blows in the wind. Also, if a small changing area was added to the side of the shower stall would be nice. A bench was just outside the curtain but it was difficult to reach out and get my clothes and try to dress inside the shower stall. I give them a 5 star out of 5! Definitely will go back! This very well may have been our best hipcamp / camping experience yet! We brought our small camper and boondocked next to one of the ponds. Our 2 oldest boys fished for hours and caught several blue gill (first time catching fish for our 6 year old). We had a large campsite and the pond to ourselves. We had our dog as well. We were all very comfortable and got just what we needed regarding relaxation/serenity/entertainment. It was a short 30 minute drive our home in Chattanooga. We will definitely plan to come back!

We took my 7 year old granddaughter for her first campout. The campsite was nice and the eggs were delicious. There was so much to do for one weekend nearby that we will have to go back again.

Secluded creek side site 5
My husband and I with our 2 teenage sons had a wonderful time ... just what we were looking for! 3 nights at the creek campsite gave us evenings similar to backpacking, with the convenience of car camping. The single outdoor shower with warm water was nice after driving back from a day of hiking. Brrr, though, on a windy afternoon. Though shower was within walking distance of our site (at least 15m), we chose to drive. We did not use the outhouse or other amenities. Campsite was clean and felt safe, perfect for being together as a family. We would definitely stay again for the same experience!

Camping with Kids
Beautiful land, well built "DIY" private campground, nice hosts and easy to find. Kids liked the fishing and walking the grounds. Really nothing to complain about.
Not a complaint, but informational for anyone looking in the future. The campsites are much more spread out than your typical State Park or KOA, but you are still within site and earshot of other camp sites. It is not total seclusion, which is what I was unreasonably expecting.

Magical Getaway
I don’t even know where to begin to tell you about our experience m. Our group consisted of 20 people. 10 kids and 10 adults +3 dogs! We booked sites 3 and 4 together. We stayed three nights and could not have had a better experience! The weather was incredible and Theresa‘s attention to detail and communication was top notch. She checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was perfect. She was personable and a pleasure to work with. We purchased firewood throughout the trip and it could not have been easier. The sites were private and we easily fit 5 tents across both areas. The kids loved fishing and canoeing and being OFF electronics. There was service for those of us who needed to check in on work though which was nice. The shower was hot and refreshing and the outhouse was definitely one of the the nicest decorated I have seen. We will 100% be back. Thank you!!

Camping with my grandson
I loved the beauty of the land. Tent camping was nice, soft pad for tent nestled in the tree’s. The other sites were close enough that I didn’t feel completely alone but not so close that we could see each other. I stayed on a large site (lake site #2) where my grandson was able to fish in the pond that was just a few steps from the tent and we had plenty of room to play some ball and other games. The fire pit, picnic table location was perfect. While I did not use the outdoor heated shower or communal coffee, dish wash area it looked very inviting with a comfortable vibe.

We stayed at campsite 5. Super secluded, yet close enough if you needed something. Property is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. LNT ethics are practices and you can tell the area is well kept up. We plan on staying again!

My family of 4 had such an amazing time here! The scenery was beautiful. My kids loved exploring the lakes. The camp site was perfect- good quality fire pit & picnic table. Perfect view of the stars. Having hot water and a coffee bar available was another great perk. Theresa was helpful and friendly. We will be back again!

Large, beautiful place to stay
We had a wonderful time staying at site 10. The site was huge, and sat next to a pond. On night 3 we even got a serenade from someone playing their bagpipes somewhere in the area. We would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

We loved camping at Woodybrooke!! Everything about it was amazing. They had great amenities, sweet pets that came and hung out with us, and lots to do on the property! It would take atleast a week to get to do all the activities they have. Definitely recommend!

Family Friendly Camping
We were at site 1. It had a beautiful view of the pond and was spacious. Nice picnic table, fire pit area with fold over cooking grate. We rented a canoe which was lovely. Plenty of kids life jackets, easy to purchase firewood and starter kits if needed, although we found most of what we needed in the woods. Hot water kettle and instant coffee packets with sugar and creamer were at the barn. Good place for kids. The host was very friendly and drove out to our site with the farm fresh eggs we purchased.

Best camping experience for anyone!
We had the best time with our two boys at this beautiful campground. The hostess, Theresa was so sweet and accommodating for any questions or needs. They have a beautiful farm with secluded camping spots. The seclusion plus access to stocked ponds and wooded areas made for a great weekend. We caught tons of bass and brim. We would highly recommend this campground if you are looking for a getaway to primitive camping (RV access as well).

Camping with small kids
Our camping experience here was so fun! It felt like a very informal place to stay, which is always a nice thing when our kids are involved! I did wish the listing had specified how close our particular site was to the host house (within sight and earshot distance and close enough for dogs to hang around all the time) as well as how far it was to the compost toilet and communal area since we did have 5 small kids with us. And although the listing specified up to 12 people, it was tough finding a place to put 2 tents on level ground. All things considered, the land was beautiful and the camping spot was nice, just wish it had been a bit more private for the price, since the amenities were not super convenient. We enjoyed boating on the pond, the sunset by the water, and the view of stars. Thanks for the stay!

True Southern Hospitality
This place is paradise! The ponds and land are absolutely beautiful, and Theresa could not be more welcoming! Before I even arrived she was in contact with me to ensure my arrival went smoothly. She delivered my firewood and delicious fresh eggs right to my campsite and welcomed me like a old friend. She, her husband and son all checked on me throughout my stay to ensure I had all I needed…as a solo camper I can tell you I have never felt more safe.
There is plenty of exploring to do and enjoy while staying here. The ponds are absolutely beautiful, the fish are quick to bite, and the stars and sunsets over the vast fields are absolutely breathtaking!
You are in close proximity to multiple outdoor activities, and if you need any recommendations, Theresa can give you plenty of ideas.
I cannot wait to return…not only to enjoy this beautiful land, but to see and talk with Theresa, her family, and make more memories in this one of a kind place.

Had a great time and definitely will be back. Fish bite like crazy and have some good sized bass and bluegill in there! My girlfriend caught her first bass there on our stay! Camp sites were super clean.

Theresa was amazing!! She came by within an hour of our arrival to meet us. And brought our pre ordered farm fresh eggs. She’s such an amazing host. I felt I could of asked her for anything and she would of met our request. The site was great; right on the pond, close to the toilet but had privacy. They have a lovely property and we will be back!

The absolute best place
This place was absolutely perfect. If you're looking for a place to unplug and relax this is it. The campsites are all spaced out so great and there is plenty of room to explore. All 4 ponds are full of hungry fish and we had a blast catching them. The shower was a bit tricky to figure out getting the water turned on but it's a great add on to the place. The entire property is beautiful and Theresa was so nice and accommodating. We loved her dog also! I can not wait to go back!
