Sharon was super accommodating and the tent space was gorgeous! The property is beautiful and there is plenty to do! It is a perfect retreat!
We stayed in the O, Canada yurt and it was great! From the volleyball net, horseshoes, and fire pit outside, to the easy walking distance to the Snake River and Heise Hot Springs, our tent was just what we needed for our trip!
This is such a cool location! I’ve had a blast and Sharon was super easy and accommodating.
This place was amazing! Beautiful, great people around, well maintained and had everything we needed. Bonus points for a comfy bed, towels to use in the showers and the great fire starter kit!
Such a fun property, and a great time staying in the O'Canada tent! My boyfriend and I stayed in the tent at the end of our Yellowstone trip. I was a little sick of sleeping on the ground, and this was the perfect solution! It was really windy that night and very chilly- but Sharon had a TON of blankets, and the tent wasn't super loud in the wind. I am always freezing, but I was perfectly warm enough. The bathrooms were in great condition and readily available. We didn't use the shower house, but it was nice to know it was an option. There was a handy little fire starter bag in our tent and nice chairs waiting for us outside. There were some noisy neighbors, but luckily they were just the cows down the road. This was a great little pit stop between camping and hotels-a comfortable evening outside!
Very chill, easygoing perfect location near the snake river. The area was beautiful and well unkept. Don’t think twice, just book it
Sharon is very responsive and all requests/questions were met with great hospitality. The site is a mixture of RV, cabins, lodge housing, etc. with communal bathrooms/showers. There’s adirondacks, a fire pit, a grill and great views. The location is along a main thoroughfare but the cabins were incredible well insulated so it was warm and quiet - there wasn’t a noise that woke me! There’s a hot spring down the road though it gets quite crowded at times it’s worth the $10 to get in. Firewood was $5 and last 2 nights. Unfortunately cloudy both nights though I’m sure the star are spectacular! It’s a bit far from the grocery store (15+ min drive) so stock up before you arrive! There is a medium sized fridge with ice box and a cute vintage microwave.
We booked this stay last minute, and were extremely glad to stay! I would definitely recommend arriving in daylight, as we had some trouble, but Sharon was kind enough to meet us at our car and explain where to go on the property, not to mention just generally provide a warm welcome. The glamping tent was lovely, and bed was cozy and comfortable as promised (a welcome relief after regular camping). Our only other issue was that our cat (yes we went camping with our cat) managed to nose her way through the zippered opening of the tent late at night, and there was a frightening 30 minutes of trying to find her in the dark, but luckily we did (she was waiting for us at the entrance of the tent)! I don't recommend the glamping tent for those traveling with smaller animals, but definitely for people looking to relax from their travels.
