Whooee! You’ve made it down the Toccoa River Canoe Trail and you’re ready for the take-out after splashing through the 13.5 miles of Class I-III rapids down this gorgeous river. No problem, since the Toccoa River Sandy Bottoms Recreation Area is ready and waiting for you (and your canoe), with a small collection of developed campsites and a boat take-out. Make the most of your journey downriver and stick around a while for some bass and trout fishing close to the campsite.
