Description

A weekend at DeSoto Falls is just enough time to see the two magnificent waterfalls within quick walking distance from the campgrounds. While the campsites themselves epitomize cozy woodland camping, the nearby Frogtown Creek is perfect for trout fishing or wading. If you bring along the whole family for a camping trip, the mature forest that abounds in every direction is sure to offset any –ahem– lack of maturity, amongst little campers! Low-growing wildflowers and sky-high trees make it a camping destination fit for anyone.

We camped here in the rain and found it just right for our needs... Stayed on a Sunday evening and two other sites were occupied, plus the camp host.
Hot showers were available!

The hikes to the different waterfalls are totally worth it. Show up early - it's a small campground and fills up on holiday weekends.
