Jubilee camping is a quiet and idyllic rural getaway situated in the village of Damerham, nestled on the Hampshire/Dorset border and 5 miles from the New Forest National Park. It is perfect for country pursuits (Fly and Carp Fishing both within a couple of miles), cycling, horse riding, and fine dining, and within easy reach of Salisbury, Southampton, and Bournemouth. Our campsite offers 100 (a few more for Bank Holidays) generously sized 10 metre-squared camping pitches spread out throughout the large site, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. You have ample space for one car and a good sized family tent, however additional car parking is available if required. Basic amenities are provided, i.e. water points, toilets and hot showers, but in addition you may wish to book one of our cosy fire pits with a supply of wood, either to cook on or simply as a warming focal point to sit around and toast marshmallows. Visit the local shops in either Sandleheath or Cranborne, just 3 miles away, or there are small supermarkets and all manner of other amenities in the town of Fordingbridge, 4 miles away. Damerham is an active farming village and offers beautiful local walks; along the stream and up to the little church, and is also home to The Compasses Inn - a popular country pub serving superb lunches and evening meals (booking is advised).

As first time rookie campers with a 2 year old, Jubilee Campsite was the perfect short break away from London. The site was spacious with plenty of room between pitches and panoramic views of rolling hills and farms. The campsite kitchen and bar offered woodfired pizzas in the evening and cooked breakfasts in the morning. The centre of the campsite was perfect for energetic, roaming toddlers with hay bales to climb on and goats and horses to watch. Our daughter loved visiting the piglets and feeding the calves milk in the morning and early evening.
Amenities were clean and well stocked, and attentive staff kept us topped up with wood for our campfire. The booking team were very accommodating to my last minute changes and offered helpful advice regarding the local sites and activities.
Jubilee is the perfect location to explore the New Forest from too.
It's safe to say we absolutely loved our stay and we will be back with more rookie camper friends in tow!
Would definitely recommend. We camped here on what must be peak season bank holiday weekend, arrived late Friday and still felt like we had plenty of space for our six tented group. The showers and toilets were really well cleaned at the start of each day, good natured queuing for the wash up at busy times. Very helpful and friendly set up. Peaceful at night and cheerful by day. Good walks on footpaths through fields and woods.
I love jubilee campsite, I have been coming for 4 years and every year it gets better. The family who run the campsite are friendly and very helpful. The pitches are a good size. The facilities are basic but they are every thing you need clean showers and toilets which are regularly cleaned. The site is not over crowded due to covid and they have a van for breakfast, hot drinks, dinner. I loved the jurk chicken and pizza's. I love the little bar on site and the barman did rum tasting which was very informative. There is a lovely pub in the village with good food and we took the kids to the Heavy Horse centre which is 10 mins away which they loved. We also went kayaking on the river in Fordingbridge were there is a great park with paddling poole.
Stayed bank holiday; mixed group; adults kids from 5 to 14.
Loved the rustic feel; bar, haystacks for kids to play on, feeding of goats and calves a real highlight.
Lots of spaces between pitches. Hot food and drinks available for brekkie and supper, with card machine.
Defo go back.
We spent two nights at Jubilee camping over the bank holiday weekend and had a fabulously relaxing time. Despite being fully booked, there was plenty of room. We camped in the top field, with great views, and had an easy weekend with a delicious wood fired pizza on site on Saturday night and an excellent Sunday dinner at the Compasses which is only a short walk away. The pop up bar was also very welcome, especially the pint of Pimms. Toilets and showers are basic but more than adequate, lots of anti bac and soap available and well ventilated. Also loved the piglets! It’s a really good, family oriented site, but suitable for anyone who likes a relaxed and well organised traditional style camp site with some very welcome and well cooked catering extras. We look forward to visiting again.
So firstly I’d like to thank the owners as the site is in a lovely spot, it’s clean and tidy and the toilets are always fully stocked with paper and paper towels. The showers are nice but unfortunately I never had a clean one. Huge clumps of hair etc not really the nicest. It’s hard to clean showers when they are in use constantly I suppose. The massive downside for our family and actually would prevent us returning is the noise. It states clearly on arrival and booking quiet time after 10pm. Sadly your more likely to get quiet time around 2.30/3pm! Wake is around 7am. 3 nights and I honestly feel like I was at reading festival. Understandably camping is not the quietest but this was ridiculous and spoilt our time away.
If your a heavy sleeper and don’t mind drunks, music and load family’s till early hours then this site is 5 stars. Sadly it’s not for us and we are a family with teenagers.
This is our second visit and wanted to share how great the campsite is. There are plenty of spaces so you never feel overlooked . The catering & bar are a bonus & the children loved seeing the farm animals. It was quiet at night & the owners are very helpful & friendly can’t wait to return next year 😃
We had a great weekend at jubilee with two families 4 adults 3 kids and a dog
The food on offer eas great as was the bar.
The kids got to feed the cows which they loved .
Friendly hosts with a young family, and our kids enjoyed feeding calves with them.
Lots of space with reasonably flat fields. Flushing toilets and hot showers.
Didn't try the BBQ but the pizzas were lovely and they run a bar at the weekend.
