Add a bit of lakeside fun to your next Washington camping trip.
Part of Snohomish County’s Seven Lakes area, Lake Goodwin is a massive watershed that draws in plenty of visitors, particularly in the summer months when it becomes a popular destination for boating, swimming, water skiing, and—of course—camping. Public lake access is at Lake Goodwin Community Park on the north shore and Wenberg County Park on the eastern side of the lake, both of which are within Stanwood city limits. And while Stanwood is technically a city, it's far from congested or overdeveloped, which means there are plenty of opportunities for Lake Goodwin camping, whether with a tent or in your own RV, near Lake Goodwin. Most area camping options are on private farms and acreage in and around Stanwood, with more private campsites and a fair few glamping opportunities further north in the Mount Vernon area.
