Aquaman Mountain

9 sites · RVs, Tents322 acres · Black Diamond, WA
322 acres that was cut down in 2020. We are growing over 150,000 trees on it now with plans to line the 1.5 mile driveway with Japanese Cherry Blossoms from DC (Yoshino, Kwanzan, Weeping, Okame, Higan). The mountain starts at 600 feet elevation and climbs to 1600 feet. Very peaceful and remote yet you can see Seattle and Mt Rainer. In the Fall/Winter of 2023-2024, we have spread millions of wildflower seeds. We are very excited to see the results in Spring 2024. As I will spend over $60k a year fighting blackberry, cottonwood, red alder, and Elk to get our forest established in the next few years, your contribution by staying here will 100% assist with helping the trees. There are 9 different secluded campsites on the mountain. All the sites can be used to host parties of up to 150 people (we have done it several times). The issue to consider is traffic. For large parties, we ask most people (usually car people) to park below on Green River Gorge Rd (there is a large county pull off) and then load into the back of trucks for the drive up the mountain. It is a one lane road, so it could get congested if 100 cars drove up it. One retirement party rented a bus for running people up and down and a porta potty at their site for guests. I am very happy to assist with party planning and setup if you have a wedding or retirement or business party. (or anything else) Boy and Girl Scout troops and Explorer scout units are welcome to camp free (when doing unit camping). Site 4 would be best for large troops.

Dean’s Campground

14 sites · RVs, Tents11 acres · Auburn, WA
Welcome to Dean’s! Eight minutes off Highway 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest between national parks, before or after crossing the US / CA border, or to set up base camp to explore Seattle / Tacoma. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. We ban fires during the peak of summer to avoid the issue of wildfires entirely. Propane stoves are welcome. We do not have a check in cut-off time tho reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. With that being said, the 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. They are available 24 / 7 for any questions or requests you may have. Feel free to reach out any time (our phone number can be found on Google).

Carrie's Creatures Animal Rescue

5 sites · Tents1 acre · Enumclaw, WA
STOP! PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!!!! Do not book here if you are looking for nature, we are a full-blown Red Neck Retreat. We are a small animal rescue that homes over 30 animals, as of August 2023 we have free range animals including, 4 bunnies, one guinea pig, 15 or so cats, 2 dogs, 17 chickens and 1 rooster, and 4 goats that will roam the property a few hours a day. This is a place where animals can come and be as free as possible, so they will lounge in all the camp sites as you are camping in their home. We are changing the way we do things as Carrie's Creatures Camping. There is now only one campsite, you are able to rent out the entire camp and choose where to put your tents, choose the big bonfire pit or chose one of 6 spots to build a fire. Large groups encouraged up to 20 people and an additional 10 people at an extra charge. There is NO flat parking for car/trailer camping. Parking will only accommodate 5 cars on property and a very tight turn around, so please keep this in mind when carpooling. I am tired of judgmental ass hats coming into my space and making me feel bad about myself and my space. LOOK at every picture and READ every review and my responses before deciding to stay on my property. I have spent a lot of time creating a very particular vibe in my space and would love to share it with LIKE-MINDED individuals. If you have the spirit of judgment on your back, please do not come into my sacred space and bring your negativity. Think Vlad the Impaler mixed with Cottage Core. We want a loving and open place where you can leave your adult standards at the gate. Open your mind to the wonder and amazement of being a child again. Find hidden treasure, have sword fights in the pool while watching all the Disney classics on VHS on our wonderfully redneck projector while enjoying a bonfire with your friends. We can provide a ride to the White River Ampitheater for those wanting a safe way to and from the concerts for up to 3 people per fee! Small plot of land with quite a few fire pits and tent areas, goats for petting and playing, come relax in the hammock area, close to Mt Rainier, lots of hiking and fun activities. Gate is now locked at all times and the gate code will be given upon arrival. Please let the host know an ETA for check in so that a prompt entrance can be achieved. ONCE YOU BOOK!!! Please message me the names of the people in your party and when to expect you so I can plan my days accordingly! Please be kind and respectful!

2 sites · RVs, Tents4 acres · Greenwater, WA
Learn more about this land: Slippery Creek is available year around. Located 30 mins out of Enumclaw and 45 mins to Crystal Mountain ski resort and 1 hr to Paradise Mt. Rainier. SlipperyCreek sits on 4 acres of old growth forest and has a creek that runs along side it. The crystal clear creek is clean enough to drink from and runs cold even in August…. But I swim in it anyways. SlipperyCreek has many cool projects in mind for creating a place to camp, so if after your stay. If you want to come back and take on a project I’ll knock off 50% on your stay plus I could also be talked into BBQ hamburgers if your bring the Salid. The project list: Build fire pits, trail maintenance and building, Tent platforms, outdoor shower and ambiance lighting. SlipperyCreek has two camping areas: The Forest sight has un-level ground and plenty of room for a trailer, good tent camping area can be found, Oh ya….. Hammock camper this back area has giant trees….. just assume lay down and looking up 200 ft and the trees disappear. Hammock campers please note hammocks will be required to use straps vs rope. This Forest sites sits back 200 ft from the creek so if you have little people… You will also find a dried up creek bed to explore. The max turn around length is 30ft. This could also be a group camp site… 1 or 2 trailers and 3-5 tents, but you need to call to make these arrangements. The River Beach: This spot has a rock pad that can handle 30 ft RVs, or two smaller trailers / camper vans. This site is still being developed, and you can hear car traffic but it’s on the river so the noise just white washes away. This spot gets good sunlight even though the tree line surrounds this area. This site currently lacks an area for a square tent , but narrow two person is fine . This spot has some great places to meditate or just lounge in the bean bag hut next to the river. More about the property…… I just dare you to take the plunge…. It only a little chilly. Make sure you keep your eyes open when walking the river because you can find petrified wood. Sam my daughter is one of those crafty people so look around for painted rocks., she leaves them all over the property. Please only 1 rock per kid… including the big kids too. Upon arrival you will find an upper driveway ( my place) and a lower ( please honk and let others and myself know your here) the river beach sites is on the left side. The Forest site is down the road and around the corner..
