Coffee Creek is an intentional community & working farm on the north side of Centralia, Washington. While our 11 acres feels very secluded, we are just 3 miles from historic downtown and 10 minutes from the freeway & shopping. An accessible oasis! There is a park with swimming, fishing and hiking along the Skookumchuck river within a mile of the farm, in addition to the natural beauty found right here at home. We enjoy bird watching and exploring our forest when we aren't working on the farm. Seasonal Strawberries and pastured poultry are our specialties, and we offer a wide variety of veggies & fruits. Farm fresh eggs are almost always available and we have organic meats to purchase & grill.La Belle Tent offers the fun & leisure of camping with "most" of the comforts of home- including a Queen sized bed! We provide fresh sheets; please bring your own Pillows & Blankets. In & around La Belle Tent you will find power outlets, adjustable lighting, & potable water. There is lawn furniture & a grill for you to use, and wifi is easily accessed from your glamp site. There is room to set up an extra tent for additional guests (La Belle Tent sleeps 2 comfortably), a pop up for added shade, or any other camping essentials, but at it's core it's a 'no set up required' site. Spread your blanket and relax in a rustic getaway. La Belle Tent is located on our working farm, Coffee Creek Community & Gardens, and we have many farm fresh offerings available seasonally. Let us know if you are interested in shopping our plants, veggies, herbs, fruits, meats, and eggs for your meals here or to take home with you. You are welcome to wander the farm and enjoy the yards and woods, but please maintain a distance from campers & cabins as a community of people live here. You may look at our animals as you explore, but please do not approach their fences, feed them anything, or open any gates. If you'd like a closer interaction with the workings of the farm, join us for an Evening Farm Tour for $10 per person. This will start around 7pm, last about 45 minutes, give you a chance to meet the farmers & critters, see the land, and learn about our methods of land stewardship. If luxuriating is your highest priority, we encourage you to add a 2 hour wood-fired hot tub session to your stay! It is a seasonal offering (October through June) and it takes about 4 hours for us to get the 42" deep pool to soaking temperatures, so be sure to schedule with us ahead of time and consider whether you would like to soak more than once on a multiple day stay. Historic downtown Centralia is just 3 miles south of Coffee Creek, and features many antiques, restaurants & bars, coffee shops & cafes, theaters, thrift stores, and more. Don't feel like exploring? DoorDash will deliver to your glamp site!

La Belle Tent
What a lovely place. It’s definitely a farm so it’s not a pick if you want seclusion and nature. However, mokey is such an open hearted, kind person and obviously puts a lot of care into her stewardship of her land and community. My two-year-old really loved seeing all the animals and getting to feed the chickens and sheep!

Great tent at small farm community
I booked this to saved money, pretty much based on location and our route during a road trip through the area, and I was delighted by the experience! There were three of us (two adults, one child) and we had sleeping bags and travel pillows with us, so that worked out. We got in kind of late, just before sunset, so mostly had time in the evening to unpack, then sit at the campsite table and enjoy the surrounding; we were there in July, and there were 1 or 2 mosquitoes, but then a bat came out at sunset and. In the morning, I took Mokey up on her offer to make the rounds visiting the chickens and sheep, at 8:30 which was a nice time for those of us on vacation and not used to farming hours :-) Very grateful for this to be the last night if our trip in the area!

Glamping amongst the residents
The glampsite is just as it's pictured, and the tent and bed were just what we were expecting. We anticipated other glampsites/campsites on the property but were surprised to see a variety of creative housing options instead. It wasn't problematic, but just not the "camping" feeling we were hoping for. The composting toilet was a new experience, and we did not use the "bath/shower house" mostly due to privacy, but also because we were only stayed one night.

La Belle Tent
Camp site with great amenities
Excellent "glamping" tent site with power, water, shared composting toilet right next to the site, hot shower and "kitchen bus" (exactly what it sounds like) a minute walk downhill. I loved seeing all the hand-built facilities, giving the place a bit of a solarpunk vibe. Wood-fired hot tub and communal fire pit were a big plus, though I felt both the hot tub and firewood add-ons were overpriced. It is a small organic farming community, and your neighbors will be those living on site, not other campers. You can see a few of the residents homes - a camper trailer and a converted bus - from the campsite, but you will still have as much privacy as you wish.

Absolutely charming
We loved staying in the adorable, comfortable setting offered; it was everything we were looking for! Lots of nature, charming organic farm, super-responsive and helpful hosts. The hot tub was such a treat, we’ll be recommending this place to our friends.
