The Retreat at Paddy's Run is nestled on 175 mostly wooded acres in the Cedar Creek Valley of northwestern Virginia, just 90 minutes from the DC area. Paddy Run has a main lodge with kitchen and dining facilities, pool, picnic shelter, barbeque pit, two all-weather sleeping quarters, several summer cabins, and ample space for tent camping.  The retreat is located in a hub of outdoor adventure- a short drive to Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive, the Shenandoah River, Luray and Endless Caverns, George Washington National Forest and Tuscarora Trail. What campers love most about our property is the abundant space and privacy. The sunsets and star gazing are spectacular. We are also ideal for families with young kids- we have just enough 'creature comforts' that make first-time or new campers feel at home, while conveniences like toilets, showers and access to running water makes life easy on everyone. Located mid-way between Strasburg, VA and Wardensville, WV, we are a close drive to so much outdoor adventure- the Tuscarora Trail, Shenandoah River, Skyline Drive and George Washington National Forest. In addition to three prime campsites, Paddy Run has a main lodge with kitchen and dining facilities, pool, picnic shelter, and barbeque pit.

Another great stay at Camp Paddy Ru
My friends and I have been coming here for years now. We always have the best time with our secluded campsite with plenty of room for the dogs to run around. Amy and the other hosts are super kind and accommodating. The bathrooms and cabin are always stocked and spotless. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Beautiful, peaceful, fun!
We had a wonderful time! It is so beautiful and peaceful! We explored, swam, and played tether ball when it wasn't raining and played basketball and relaxed when it was. There's so much space and the views are amazing! We can't wait to come back with friends!

Very special
What a fantastic experience!!! Such a beautiful spacious field, neat bathhouse and a nice swimming pool. The star gazing was breathtaking - I saw milky way for the first time in a while. Absolutely love this campground and I will definitely come back. It is a very special place.
