Site 8 - Burke’s Garden Camping ⛺️
Unfortunately this experience wasn’t great, this “open pasture” was filled with sheep and their poop. We were told by the host this is managed by an external person so forgot we were coming and nothing was as advertised in the listing. There was not access to portable toilets, no fire wood, etc. We ended up leaving that night and received a refund although the host never apologized for ruining our trip. I would recommend only booking during the summer months and asking the host some follow up questions so you have no surprises.

Nice valley camping
Mattie's Hipcamp was just what we were looking for in our truck camper trip. Nestled in Burkes Garden Valley, it was tucked away on a farm with a little fire ring and a bench. The gentleman that got us access to the field even brought us firewood. All and all a nice experience.

Burke’s Garden Camping ⛺️
We had such a lovely time! The farm was immaculate and Mattie was so kind and welcoming. The camp site was perfect for putting up our tent and had a wonderful view of the surrounding farms. My boyfriend really enjoyed biking the road loop around Burke’s Garden. We had cinnamon rolls at the store and they were incredible. Will absolutely be back again and recommend this spot to friends and family!

Not only did the views look amazing, you get a true sense of people who do what they love. There is a restaurant ran by the family and it's amazing. You feel welcome the moment you step foot on the property. Can not recommend it enough.
