Sommerleigh has two huts on a small island in-between Breamlea and Torquay. 3km from Point Impossible Beach. Very rural, very small, very quiet, very sheltered and private. It is located on the billabong just east of the winery. Gas hot water and stove plus BBQ . Supplied base sheet and pillows for double bed. Tea and Coffee. William Buckley camped here! Great restaurants, surf beaches, and golf courses all close by.Sommerleigh has two huts on a small island in-between Breamlea and Torquay. 3km from Point Impossible Beach. It was so peaceful, quiet and the sounds of the birds amazing. Going to bed and turning out the light meant you could see the stars through the glass panel on the roof. And then once your eyes adjusted, the reflection of the water and the shadow of the tee tree in front of the bed window was amazing, the moon cast a beautiful light, it was just like a painting. Even though there is no power there is enough might with the solar lights and the gas oven is great, we made home made pizza , it's a good size, overall a great glamping experience.

Lovely. Very peaceful (although I thought Jeff would be a better player at quoits than he made out to be. Ha ha)

Loved it!
We absolutely loved our stay here and would have stayed forever if possible. Jeff was super lovely and funny. We felt like we were on our own private little island in the middle of nowhere. It was even better than the photos! Less than 10 minutes drive to the beach. The best part was all the windows in the bedroom, could have stayed in bed all day with a book and a cup of tea watching the beautiful world go by at Sommerleigh. 🌷💗

Sommerleigh is stunning. The pictures don’t really do it justice, it feels so peaceful being there.

Just Beautiful
I absolutely loved it. Clean, simple and comfortable with a view on the Thompson Creek. The island is full of native old trees and a haven for birds. There's no electricity and Wi-Fi. And I was able to finish writing my book. Zahidah
