A perfect campsite for those of you who enjoy tent camping, hiking the unmarked mountain side, animal watching, arrowhead hunting and star gazing. The Frio river is about a mile from the campsite, so if spending the day in the cool water sounds refreshing to you it is close enough to enjoy. However you choose to spend your time while you are here we hope that you enjoy every second of it. The Hill Country will play center stage to two Phenomenal Solar Events. On Saturday, October 14, 2023 there will be an Annual Solar Eclipse and then a Total Solar Eclipse just six months later on April 8, 2024. We expect hundreds of thousands of visitors during this time. Make sure you get your campsite booked so you can watch the sky with us!

Site 3 - The Buckin'Arm Campsites

Buck N Arms for the win!

Really enjoyed Mindy’s property! Short 15 minute drive from Garner State Park. It’s is near to Hwy. 83 and you will hear cars at camp as the briefly pass by but it’s so quiet and beautiful otherwise it wasn’t an issue. Zero light pollution. Stars were pretty epic. General store right down the road. Would definitely come back!

The land is gorgeous, and the hosts were super accommodating. We couldn’t get there until 1030pm and also asked for a late check out. The hosts had no issues. Would definitely recommend!

Convenient

Host was super chill and accommodating. Showed us around the property. Good location near a few good convenience stores. Good place to camp if you want to go to Garner state park.
