Enjoy a country getaway on private 8 acre lake on 45 acres. A perfect escape from the city with gorgeous sunset views, Texas wildlife and a relaxing comfortable lake house with many amenities. Lake is full of Blue gill, bass, crappie, catfish. Since it's private lake there is no need for fishing license. Guest are welcome to explore most of acreage, pet donkeys, watch wildlife. We have fishing poles, Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent. If needed guests can pitch tents. There is fire pit, gas grill, diving board (when lake is full, as of May water is to low to dive). No food is provided you must bring your own, don't forget your coffee, there is a coffee pot but not coffee. Site is 10 minutes from Stephenville, 3 miles from County Store in Huckabay. Linens, towels provided. Board games, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Land owners located across lake and may be on lake or available as needed. GPS should get you here. You will go past Little Off Ranch house, follow road to lake house. Keys will be left out on porch on arrival day. No Wi-Fi or television service at this time. TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t damage home, chase cows, kill chickens or are dangerous to others. There is an extra fee for pets. If children are in, on or near water they should have life jackets on. There are various life jackets and floats available. Use best judgment, safety measures and laws required in TX. NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS. Fishing Guidelines per visit: Bass 10”-14” keep, limit 10, Crappie limit 10, Catfish are catch and release for now, Bluegill (I call them perch) limit 10. Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent. If needed guests can pitch tents. There is 1 full size bed in bedroom 1, 1 queen size bed in bedroom 2, a full blowup mattress and a twin sized blowup mattress. There is fire pit, gas grill, diving board (when lake is full-as of June not deep enough yet for diving). Lawn chairs, outdoor furniture, baby swing on back deck. No food stocked, you’ll have to bring it. 10 minutes from Stephenville. 3 miles from County Store. Linens, towels, toilet paper provided. No other toiletries. Board games, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Host located across lake, may be on lake and available as needed. Wi-Fi available, television service. TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available mostly kid movies. Little Off Lake House

Beautiful weekend cabin

Such a beautiful area and a perfectly stocked, cozy cabin. We were even welcomed by a cute dog (named Zippy!). We took full advantage of the extra goodies - the ping pong table, the fishing poles (great fishing in the lake), the motorized barge, etc - and basked in sunsets and the fire pit. Beautiful star gazing and property to hike around. An excellent getaway spot close to Dallas, our group had a great time! Friendly heads up - if you want to watch the movies, the VHS player does work, but clicks very loudly and we switched to streaming instead :)

Absolutely beautiful property. It was extremely peaceful and quiet. The owners were awesome and came to check on us. They were nice and very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Little Off Lake House

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and ready for us we arrived. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. It was very quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend renting the barge and little boat.

Little Off Lake House

House was nice and clean, stocked with games, ping pong, trampoline, and nice donkeys down the way. Cornhole, fire pit with wood. We rented the barge, as well. Caught fish and could have caught more had the weather not been windy/rainy/cold. Our family had a wonderful time.
