Site 2 - Prairie Land Ranch
Good stopping spot for crossing South Dakota. Close to interstate. Follow the directions that are sent to you by Crystal... not GPS. Flat even place to park. We stayed hooked up. Electrical hookup is optional. Our dogs got a nice walk down the lane, off leash. The Historic School house, Camp store and Bob the Cat are all bonus when stopping here.

1940s Tourist cabin
I thought the little cabin was adorable but my only complaint is the walls/ doors didn't seem sealed enough to keep some critters out. I had to round up quite a bit of centipedes and block off the bottom of the front door to prevent them from coming back in. I was happy to find a place with a shower and little kitchen to clean up and have some warm food on my road trip and would definitely come again.

1940s Tourist cabin
Awesome stay!!
Crystal was such a kind and helpful host. We had a great time checking in and there were some special visitors (camp cats) that greeted us as well and they were so adorable! We checked out the old schoolhouse which is well kept and historic as well as the camp store where my friend and I got some homemade beef jerky and friendship necklaces. The RV campers on the property were so friendly as well!

Beautiful place but Watch for rain!
Crystal was a great host as she was communicative and welcomed me. I’d suggest you check the weather (which I didn’t) so you can see if rain is expected. The dirt road that leads to the camping area turned to very slick mud. It was especially bad right as you pull out of camping area and near her home. I made it ok but it made me nervous and I had “concrete-like” mud on my trailer. The road that leads to their ranch turned muddy but not as bad and not slick. Thankfully I found a place the next day to hose it off. Be aware of the biting flies too.
The location is pretty and it was fun to see other campers bring their horses.
