3 acre homestead nestled in the foothills between Hendersonville and Traveler's Rest. The property is bordered by a creek which can be accessed for wading or fishing. For hiking, we are 10 minutes to Jones Gap, 25 minutes to Table Rock, 30 minutes to Ceasars Head. Travelers Rest is only 20 minutes away for restaurants and biking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.Shady semi-private camping spot next to a creek and small pond. Site is approximately 50 feet from parking area. 16 x 16 platform accommodates a large tent. Fire ring and picnic table provided. Composting toilet available. For hiking, we are 10 minutes to Jones Gap, 25 min to Table Rock, and 30 min to Ceasars Head. 20 minutes to Traveler's Rest for plenty of restaurants and activities including the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We are easily accessible, only 5 minutes off of I-25 on a paved road.

Shady creekside tent site

A HipCamp Gem.

This was the perfect place for my maiden voyage. It was my first time out with my Vistabule teardrop trailer and to have the comfort, safety and the most helpful, friendly host family, so close to home was just perfect. I can’t wait to go back! Once I have a better understanding of how my trailer works I’ll be able to more fully enjoy the gorgeous property, area and lovely host family. This HipCamp is a hidden gem, (but very easy to find). 100% recommendation! Thank you Matt and Michele 🙂

Shady creekside tent site

Tranquil location. Perfect spot to not hearing any cars but an easy 5 minute drive off a major highway/ route. Great location!! The site was large and well kept! Beautiful landscape.

Shady creekside tent site

Extremely kind and accommodating hosts! The site is located across the pond from their house. They have built a nice dry, level, fine gravel box to pitch your tent. Firewood was provided. The outhouse is a short walk down their driveway and they provided a hand washing station with soap and water. The hosts were incredibly responsive
