The Old piggery is located in the back corner paddock of our 36 acre property. It has enough space for 4 caravans/campers. To ensure you have the entire fenced paddock to yourselves we have listed it as one site. It is a flat shady site with an undercover bush kitchen and fireplace. There is also a seasonal creek with many species of wildlife. Located close to popular tourist locations - Mooloolaba Beach, hinterland, The Big Pineapple, Aussie World, Australia Zoo (all within 20 min drive). Guests will have access to a toilet and shower during their stay. We have cattle on the property so please ensure gates are kept closed at all times. Kangaroos are regularly sighted on our property. Price is per person so please include the correct number of guests in your booking. We only take one booking at a time so you are guaranteed exclusive use of the site and facilities. Firewood can be collected from the paddock for free. Pre-packed firewood is available for purchase at the site. Please advise your eta so we can greet you and show you to the site. Private and tranquil with Luxuries

We loved camping at The Piggery. It was really well set up with undercover facilities plus a toilet and shower. Very private and relaxing.

Old Piggery

Very secluded site with a great under cover barn which used to be the old piggery. This came in super handy with the wet weather and unfortunately it had been wet so the surrounds of the site does stay wet as it’s a low lying site which attracts a few mosquitoes. That being said I would definitely return to see it in its full glory as the ammenities were good the piggery was great and the sound of nobody around was perfect. Time it well and you will enjoy.

Perfect rainy retreat

The perfect rainy weekend retreat. Thank you for the peace and quiet and lovely break. Having an undercover fire in all the rain we have had was heavenly.

So quiet surrounded by the local animals and bush land. A private site with great camping facilities. Lovely to have a shower in the morning and look out over the trees or watch the sun go down in the evening. Thank you Cath and family

Thanks so much to Cathy and Richard, our stay at the Old Piggery which included an early Christmas Family catch up was amazing. The campsite was well kept and stunning and it was a bonus to have the rustic toilet and shower and the undercover area in case of rain. Our grandkids (and the adults!) loved the cows that were in the paddock next to where we camped. Cathy and Richard were so accommodating with the requests we made and I truly hope that one day we will have the opportunity return.
