Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
A cleared grass/gravel paddock close to everything Maroochydore, Coolum and the Sunshine Coast has to offer! Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. These can cause damage to vehicles and you will need a tow truck to be recovered. Bring your pets, please keep them close as we have no fences.

Pink!
Despite being below the highway, it was rather quite, good for a base camp set up, we were here in-between raining days. So stock up on mozzie repellent ha

It was beautiful and quiet. Did have a lot of bugs and the driveway is not the easiest one to get into, but it was very peaceful and safe.

Great location Great Hosts
Great spot to spend a few days Private with lots of grassed areas and lovely shady spots to sit. A bonus is a good all weather gravel road in with an all weather hardstand to pull up on Right in the centre of the Sunshine Coast so you can chill out at the camp go surfing swimming or shopping and have a fire at night And the very best thing is the wonderful hosts they go out of the way to help you settle in whilst still giving you your space our bus is 3.9 metres high and there were a few branches at the entry that may have caused an issue so Helen and her husband fronted up with a chainsaw and trimmed the entry for us That in itself says why you should camp here Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Stopped over for one night here (2WD rooftop tent), cute spot and a short drive from sunny coast hotspots. We had the place to ourselves, and there were kangaroos hanging out in the field across from the sites which was lovely. We even saw a green tree frog! Best suited for quiet campers as the other camp sites were in close proximity. Not the best spot to pitch a tent as most of the ground was rocky and hard, there were appropriate grassy spots but not under shade (at least from what we saw). There were a couple of rubbish items left behind by previous campers which we took with us…leave no trace!

Owner was nowhere to be seen and too many mosquitos. But environment was nice and quiet. Plenty of natural wildlife.
