I loved having the opportunity of staying on Julie’s land. Julie was very hospitable towards us and gave clear directions in and around the area which were easy to follow. The campsite was quiet and the stars were bright. There was a coffee shop there which served coffee and breakfast daily. If you haven’t booked a stay here already you should. Good experience which I will be returning one day in the future.

We loved staying here! Julie and Mike stayed in contact as we arrived very late in a storm and made sure we had everything we needed to safely set up for the night. In the morning we joined them for coffee in their cafe before heading out to hikes in the area. When we are out hiking the first day Mike brought a fire ring and wood and kindling up to our site for us. The spot we camped in had a perfect view of all the stars. We will absolutely come back!

Peaceful and quiet. Great view of the stars. Great place off the beaten path. Host were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. My wife even got to hold a baby goat which made her night

This campsite was one of the quietest places I’ve been in some time. The hosts were warm and kind while being very helpful. By far the nights sky was the best experience of our trip, seeing that many stars at that clarity was something we will never forget.

Remote camping with host security
Julie and Mike are very welcoming folks. Camping could be considered rustic / primitive. Lotsa animals. Location is fairly remote. Shower facilities were not up and running but they offered a reasonable alternative. Julie even offered to cook me (a late) dinner as well as a breakfast the following morning. Mike kindly provided firewood. If you are looking for a stealth camping experience with the security of a host, this may be the place for you.
