Thunder Hollow Camping

Excellentfor people new to camping!

This stay was great! Vera was extremely kind and welcoming and we felt very safe the entire time. The camping spot was about 30 yards from the main house, which we weren’t expecting, but we ended up enjoying it because it made us feel safe in a remote, wild area! Vera brought us coffee and chatted with us and it made us feel very comfortable. It is in a remote location, but it’s only about 30 minutes from Cherry Springs and the town of Galeton with shops, gas, and a restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this spot for first time campers or anyone relatively new to camping - you’re near help and people but don’t sacrifice the beauty of nature and secluded camping.
