32 acres located in Appleton, Maine, with a natural blend of 4 acre field, woods and stream. Easy walking trails located in the woods. Bench overlooking the stream for a serene spot to chill and enjoy the wood ducks. Snowmobile trail crosses the field during winter months. Appleton is farming area as we are surrounded by small working farms and folks who live off the land. "Rustic Pines" is a perfect location for a getaway, yet close enough to the mid-coast area (Belfast, Camden, Rockland areas) to visit the local attractions (plenty of hiking, boating, biking and swimming in the area) and then slip away to the woods and relax with a ride in a horse-drawn buggy from the local farm down the road. How cool is that?Come on back into the Maine woods and park next to the bunkhouse/cabin for the ease of your camping experience. The smell of the forest on a rainy day or the sight of the sunlight dancing thru the pine trees are enough to send one’s senses reeling. Just for a moment, stop and enjoy a place where life is simple and hot dogs or hamburgers on the grill are considered haute cuisine. Come and stay where the atmosphere is natural, rustic and cozy. Let yourself leave the chaotic life or stress of the city hubbub and getaway to a cabin in the woods. The harmony of the bunkhouse cabin and the surrounding Maine woods will help restore one’s creativity and renew your spirit once again.  There’s plenty to do in the area and when you come back home to the bunkhouse, take a deep breath, and just relax. Enjoy a leisure stroll on the walking trails on the property or just sit at the fire-pit and listen to the evening whispers of the surrounding pines. A comfortable “off the grid” bunkhouse/cabin is the perfect getaway and a comfy place to camp in the Maine woods.
