Once a dairy farm and part of the old Simpson estate our property offers mushroom picking seasonally whey you may find Chanterelle & Hedgehog mushrooms. We're close to the beach and the Sunset Bay Golf Course is on the same property. Lots of hiking trails and you can connect with Sunset Bay State Park our neighbor. We have a private, secluded campground that is wind sheltered with approximately 20 acres of space in which to use our covered table, picnic tables, fire pit, fire rings at individual campsites, BBQ, sauna and outdoor propane-fired shower. The camp area is tucked away among large spruce trees and open meadows which lead to endless trails on the property, with the option to buy a round of golf at Sunset Bay Golf Course, which is right next door to the camp area. We’re just short of a mile from Sunset Bay, where you will find kayaking, fishing and a great spot for kids. The Whiskey Run mountain bike trails are a short drive away and are truly world-class trails. The Sunset Bay State Park has a huge trail network that spans the cliff line all the way from Sunset Bay to Cape Arago. Chuck’s Seafood in Charleston is a great spot to pick up local seafood. BBQ some oysters on the grill or pick up some fresh fish and enjoy the bounty of the coast. Welcome to the river! This beautiful 10 acre property is located on the scenic main Umpqua River. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite. Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge! There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive. There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go. The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated area that has trees between the road and parking. There is a port-a-potty for use in the summer months. There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table. The "site 1" camping spot has a driveway that is hard-packed grass and is not gated. There is a small fire pit on the path by the river. There are areas under the trees both up top near the road and down near the path that are suitable for tents. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a fully manicured campground. There are bushes and grasses that grow year round. We do our best to keep things trimmed and accessible. Sometimes (especially in the spring) things grow more quickly than we can get to them. Please don't expect this to be a perfectly mowed, backyard-type site.

JUSTAMERE Place offers safe, comfortable, romantic and memorable lodging, conveniently located directly off of the 101. Maximum occupancy: 2 No children under the age of 12. No pets. We offer a variety of dvd's, books and a memory foam queen bed. We also have various kitchen appliances such as a coffee machine, toaster, microwave & single burner. Memory foam queen mattress is located on the bunk area, but the couch can be broken down to also allow someone the option of sleeping lower to the ground. Bath towels & linens are provided. We also offer hot water for short showers. Please bring a cooler, as the refrigerator of this 1976 RV is unpredictable and only works when it wants to. We have a portable toilet that gets emptied, cleaned and sanitized between each reservation. Currently, we are constructing a patio directly outside of the RV that will be a delightful place to enjoy your coffee or beverage of choice. We do not offer wi-fi or regular television (just a variety of Dvds).

About

Situated between the Coquille River and the southern Oregon Coast, Bullards Beach State Park is a popular spot for vacationing families and horse-owners, particularly in the warm summer months. A small horse camp offers corrals plus 11 miles of trails, though plenty of visitors opt to head straight to the four-mile-long expanse of sandy beach and dunes for a ride. Bullards Beach Campground is well-equipped with yurts, campsites, flush toilets, and hot showers, plus seasonal boat ramps for those who want to get out on the water.

Tips for snagging a campsite

Reservations for campsites and yurts can be made from as early as six months in advance and as late as one day in advance through Oregon State Parks, either online or over the phone. Reservations open at 6am daily, and it’s a good idea to be ready to book right when they do, particularly if you’re looking for a yurt or a specific site.
Same-day sites are sometimes available for in-person booking on a first-come, first-served (FCFS) basis.
Sites C48-C64 are available on a FCFS basis from November through mid-May and by reservation from mid-May through October.

When to go

Bullards Beach State Park is open for day use and overnight camping year-round. July and August are the most popular months due to warm temperatures and low chances of rain, and things tend to stay warm and dry well into September. If you’re interested in whale watching, you’re best off timing your visit for winter or early spring. As these times of year are traditionally cool and rainy, you may want to consider booking a yurt rather than tent camping.

Know before you go

The park is on the northern outskirts of Bandon, where there are plenty of spots to get groceries, supplies, and fuel.
Open flames, including campfires and tiki torches, are prohibited during periods of increased wildfire risk. If the danger is extreme, propane and gas stoves may also be banned. Fireworks are never allowed.
The campground offers three ADA-accessible yurts and six campsites along with accessible flush toilets and showers.
Dogs are welcome at the campground, and six of the 13 yurts are pet-friendly.
