In the kitchen there is a microwave, coffeemaker, and small fridge. It is supplied with dishes, silverware, cups, and there are condiments in the refrigerator. Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill. We are a 15 min. drive to the Weymouth Woods Nature Preserve that has several levels of trails ranging from inexperienced to experienced hikers. Scattered along the many trails are rocks painted by the one and only Debbie Beasley with cute fluorescent/3-D scenes of nature. Children can keep them as souvenirs from their New Forest camping adventure, or enjoy them while here then re-hide them for other children to find. ❤️ Come see for yourself. Hummingbird hill is our cute camping spot nestled under pine trees and amongst our farm inhabitants including horses, donkeys, chickens, peacocks and an occasional cat. One or all of these may make themselves a regular presence at your site. We are located a short distance from the Walthour Moss Foundation boasting endless miles of equestrian trails. We are a short 3 mile drive to Southern Pines and a quick drive to Pinehurst. Your campsite has a 30 amp hookup and water next to a cozy single campsite with table/chairs and fire pit. Easily accessible pull in and out with lots of room to maneuver. This is a *working* horse farm which means you will see manure, bugs and dust. You may hear horses, donkeys, turkeys, chickens, dogs, cats and peacocks making the noises they enjoy making. There are tractors and mowers that may pass your site. Well behaved, leashed dogs welcome with prior approval. Paddocks with sheds available for horses for additional fee.
