Learn more about this land: Our scenic Dan River primitive campsite is private and secluded. It has plenty of cleared space for setting up a tent or tents to camp. It has wooded area all around the cleared campsite space with three access spots to the Dan River. The site sits on about a one acre lot. Great for fishing, sun bathing or just putting your feet in the water and relaxing! This is a great space for family camping! It has plenty of shade and a nice large flat space for easy tent set-up. Nice spot!

Tara and Ken kindly responded to our last-minute request, and the site was awesome. If you want to drive all the way down to the site, you’ll definitely want 4x4 and ample ground clearance. Great spot right on the Dan River, plenty of space for the three tents and kitchen that we set up. Glad we were able to stay there.
