Highly recommend
Highly recommend. Beautiful private campsite on steam with well-maintained outhouse, resident owls, fire pit, picnic table, and friendly helpful host. Perfect for getting away from it all, relax, hike, enjoy nature. Entire large property is a treat to visit - hope to be back.

Upper Deep Creek Resto
A group of us stayed at Upper Deep for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The site is in the tree line on the edge of a beautiful creek, next to an open field great for bocce ball and frisbee. We enjoyed the solitude and isolation. We heard and/or saw barred owls, coyotes, wild turkeys and otters. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you Brian for providing such a great place to camp and visit.

Nice and very private
The property is pretty and there are a couple nice water falls. The fishing was pretty good and I enjoyed riding my E-bike around on the roads. The site I was on was not one of the better of the 5 available. And without a place to shower I am not sure it was worth the price. Yes it is all very private but I can get exactly the same thing at the Uwharrie national forest for free. And had I known that there was dead wood laying all over the place I would not have bought 2 bundles of fire wood for $12 each. I did enjoy my weekend And I may go back some time. It was fine for a camper like me with a truck and a rooftop tent . I could get around the rough roads but I would not want to be in there if it rained. It could become difficult to get out of some of the campsites.

Loved loved loved
We absolutely loved our trip to upper creek! I have been looking at this farm for a year and been wanting to go and so so glad we booked it. Soooo relaxing! Magical place! Huge field where our dog had the best time of her life. My girls 4 and 2 loved going to the waterfall, playing in the creek, and enjoying the beautiful weather. We are already looking at our calendar for our next visit. Mike was a great host. Super helpful and we loved hearing his adventures on the farm. Thank you for having us and for sharing your amazing farm.

Lower Deep Creek
Overall, pretty good!
Overall this was a great campsite. The only real complaint I had was the junk everywhere. I was hoping for some nice nature, but the waterfall had blue plastic stuck in it, the large tree by its riverside had barbed wire growing into/out of it. Just around the bend from the waterfall beach area was a trail that looked like it had been set up for Halloween but they just never took the decor down, and honestly it was weird AF. I'm so glad I didn't walk into that at night time or with kids. The actual campsite was pristine, level and everything you'd want from a campsite. The river view was prime, the decor just wasn't my vibe. The owners son was very nice and friendly when he greeted us.

Everything about Honah Lee Farms was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were very flexible and very welcoming. All the sites were beautifully maintained and very private. We had an open field on one side and right next to a big stream on the other.
I would absolutely stay here again, and honestly we probably will again very soon!!
