Originally a historical farming property, Clyde River Camp Grounds offer the ultimate in camping on manicured pastures directly on the Clyde River. We also offer Powered Caravan and RV sites, unpowered in Off peak times For powered sites please book through: Clyde River Caravan and RV Resort. Please note campsites are non powered (Caravans and RV's welcome for unpowered visits in off peak times) It is a 10 min drive from Nelligen town centre and a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience. The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream. You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water. The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region. Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper) and shower onsite, in busy periods (peak times) there may be a slight wait for these amenities. This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. With water onsite you can even flush motors at the end of the day. The property has Telstra coverage for added security.

Clean and well maintained area. The only two thing that you should consider is to bring your own toilet/shower pop up tent and portable toilet. Why? Because there is only one toilet for all.

Perfect for Group
We enjoyed our 2nts stay there with friends and family during recent Easter long weekend. It's spacious place and does not feel crowded at all. The ground is well maintained and clean. We were 6 families travelling together and had been assigned to a large space where we can all get together. Nice one! One thing that you might want to consider is to bring your own shower and toilet cabin as well as portable toilet (if you have one) as there is only one toilet and one shower to share. My husband brought 2 medium size jerry cans that proof to be very useful during the stay. Our campsite is quite a walk to the communal area where we can get the water, so having the water handy at all times saved back and forth trips.

The place is more than expected, quite and relaxing. Ross & Lisa are very accommodating. We recommend this place and cannot wait to come back.

Tranquil weekend away
We had the most beautiful relaxing long weekend at Ross and Lisa’s place with our young family and dog. Their spot is so peaceful and stunning, we particularly loved being so close to the river and all the amazing wildlife. Facilities were great and the hot shower was a massive bonus. We would definitely stay again, highly recommend this spot! Thanks Ross and Lisa for an amazing holiday.
