Lescombes winery on the way! 4x4 vehicle is a MUST, because the dirt roads and ground can become soft and muddy depending on weather. Off-road traction boards highly recommend. COME PREPARED. You will be provided the gps coordinates, there is no wi-fi, plot ahead of time. The site is remote - beyond where the roads end. This is a primitive campsite - so NO water, power or toilets are available. Please respect nature. No fireworks or trash. Pack in pack out policy. Wildlife includes mostly small animals like rabbits, prairie dogs, turtles, lizards, field mice and kangaroo mice. Bigger animals such as deer antelope and the occasional cow are out here. Rosie's Retreat

Middle of Nowhere, great stars!

There’s not much between Las Cruces and Deming, and this place reflects that, but it’s okay! If you’re looking for a spot to camp with amazing stars this will do the job. The gps takes you to a undeveloped parcel of land. No services, but if your dispersed campers, as we normally are, this is a great spot.
