Our ancestor Ebenezer Cole, settled in our little corner of Lebanon, NH., in 1847. Eight generations of our family have lived, and farmed here since. Although once almost totally cleared for crops and grazing, most of our land is now devoted to forestry, but some land remains open and devoted to forage crops. We also have a modern hillside maple orchard. Although we no longer actively farm full time, the stewardship of our farm is of upmost importance to our family. We encourage people to visit our property and enjoy it fully. We host a Boy Scout Troop campsite on another part of our property. We are located in the heart of the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region with countless cultural, and recreational opportunities just minutes away. We hope you will come for a visit and learn to love our farm and community as much as we do. Learn more about this land: Shaded Brookside Glen is a private, stream side, level, pull through site for a small RV, trailer, or tent. This is the private campsite we developed on our farm several years ago for when my wife and I need a little getaway, but don't have the time to travel. Shaded Brookside Glen is a level, mowed lawn surrounded by mature trees and bushes. Dry camping only, but a nice composting outhouse is easily available nearby. Water is available from the year round trout stream, but drinking water must be carried in. Shaded Brookside Glen has a picnic table, a metal fire pit, and limited fire wood is supplied. Special Spot

Exceeded my expectations and kinda want to keep it a secret. This is very private yet only minutes from interstate. Outhouse is super clean, chopped wood available is cut well and dry, fire pit is an amazing bell sort of thing. Everything well labeled and tidy. Hung the hammock over the babbling Brook and had the best nap ever. I give this all the stars. Falling asleep I heard one vehicle way off in distance and then only the sound of the stream. Owners were very accommodating and easy transaction. Amazing. Don’t tell anyone.

Shaded Brookside Glen

We loved our stay here! It was private yet did not feel remote-we felt secluded enough but could easily run out to the store, etc. The site was beautiful and all the amenities were well thought out. One of the nicest outhouses we’ve ever used! We appreciated all the space to spread out; the amazing stargazing, the great fire pit, and the sounds of the stream. My four year old wanted to move there! We would come back in a heartbeat.
