Property is wild wilderness with lots of wild blueberries. 40 acres square with old logging roads and skidder trails. You can hear Lake Superior waves crashing at night. View loads of stars at night. Smells of evergreen and earthy notes. Quiet space to be alone without neighbors. There are a few small streams flowing through the property. Wildlife you may see are deer, grouse, rabbit, bear, bobcat, coyotes, and wolves. Moose have been spotted in the area. Just a short drive away from beautiful Marquette.Pitch a tent in the wilderness, find a spot you think it's perfect, plenty of spots with beautiful views. Park an rv or two. Pick blueberries or explore the wilderness and get lost. In the area you can swim in Lake Superior, fish, and kayak. Plenty of area to go mountain biking also. Picture rocks is a short drive east. Marquette has a lot of activities to offer as well. All proceeds go to camp improvements. If you have ideas please let me know. Saving up for shallow well next and steel roofed shelter to put table under.

Lake Superior Point

Pros: Conveniently located near beaches and hikes in Marquette and Munising. Cons: The campsite is a little close to the main road and we had a run in with a couple of nosey neighbors. There was broken glass all over the site, I would think twice about bringing animals, our dogs got cut up on their feet.

Great Private Spot! Good location in between Marquette and Pictured Rocks. Nearest beach is a 15 minute drive. Lots of blueberries and very cool landscapes. Good amount of firewood too! The drive in isn’t as bad as what we thought. We could easily make it in a Chevy Volt. Grocery store 15 minutes away and lots of decent places to eat nearly if you get tired of cooking outside! 10/10 would recommend!

Tent camping by the mosses

We found the site no problem after a winding road back from the highway. We loved the mosses and blueberry bushes, not to mention all the wintergreen growing everywhere! Ross was a very responsive host via text and never hesitated to answer any questions we had.

Remote, quiet but rough road

Overall nice quiet remote spot. Access road was rough, would not recommend a regular car to site. Great communication with host.
