Maple Grove farm is a twenty acre preserved livestock and hay farm in Harford County Maryland. It is home to sheep, alpaca, an old horse, chickens , dogs, and a cat or two. The world headquarters for Remsberg Inc Photo Studios is in the older farmhouse on the property and we lead photo safaris and workshops in Africa and England through the year. Our crack team of Border Collies are here to assist you with all your outdoor activity needs from frisbee tossing to ball throwing. Gather around the fire under the stars and listen to the sounds of sheep doing whatever it is sheep do with one of our loaner dogs at your feet and horses grazing in the sunset on the hill. When the weather is nice we occasional show movies by the barn drive in style and try to have one or two outdoor concerts each season. We are only three miles from W42 (Fallston Airport) if you are flying in. Nearby there are hiking trails and a swimming hole at Gunpowder Falls State Park one mile away. Boordy Vinyards down the road has a farmers market Thursdays and wine tastings other days or get homemade ice cream at Prigel Creamery just past it. Take your canoe up to Eden Mill or Bike on the Ma & Pa and NCR trails nearby.

Sheep Safari in Classic Land Rover
Fantastic time and the best dogs!
First time on Hipcamo and it was a great start thanks to Edwin and his set up! We stayed in the tent on top of the Land Rover and it was a blast! As soon as you arrive you are greeted by the coolest dogs ever who come up to your car to greet you and the proceed to guide you to your campsite. I would honestly come back just to hang out with the dogs but there’s plenty more reasons to. The scenery is beautiful, though there may be other campers in the field you still get your privacy. Made a campfire at night and once it surprisingly started to storm, we took shelter in the tent which actually kept us plenty warm. There’s also a great German restaurant two minutes down the road that you should check out as well(Black Forest I believe is the name). If you come looking for a fun experience on this site, definitely check out one of the spots on Edwin’s farm.

Sheep Safari in Classic Land Rover
Pefect for a quick overnight getaway close to home. Kids got a kick out of camping on the roof of the Land Rover. Communication was super easy. Host was quick to respond and answer my questions.

Pitch your tent in the Pasture
Alpaca and camp here again anytime!
An absolute blast! The open field was really nice to space out from other campers and easy to drive on. I took my four year old son and we loved going to see the horse, alpaca, and sheep. One of my favorite camp sites I've stayed at through Hipcamp.

Sheep Safari in Classic Land Rover
Edwin was very responsive and was excited about my daughter and son-in-law-law desire to spend their mini-moon atop the Rover in a beautiful setting. First of a lifetime of adventures for them. ❤️

Vintage van life - 1940's style
Staying in the vintage van was such a fun experience!! The farm is absolutely gorgeous, and we had a great time exploring it and the surrounding area. We were even able to walk to a local bar for dinner. I will say that you might want to bring your own bedding, as the linens and pillows are a little outdated. It can also get very hot during the day but with the vents open on a cool night, it was great.
